Jalen Greene At WR . . .

Some news today was Jalen Greene (10) saying he wants to be a full-time wide receiver and Clay Helton saying he would allow to stay there while Matt Fink and Jack Sears battle it out to be the No. 2. But then Helton compared Greene to Antwaan Randle El, a college quarterback who became a wide receiver in the NFL and threw a TD pass in a Super Bowl for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“The beauty about (Greene) is if needed, he could step into that (quarterback) role just like that,” Helton said.

As I’ve said before, Greene right now is the best No. 2 QB.

  1. Greene isn’t going anywhere and I think it gives the coach a chance to make a player happy. It’s a win win.

  2. Just my own personal gut feeling but I think Greene would do well as the signal caller. Not Darnold well but well.
