A Weekend Of Streaks

The No. 1-ranked USC women’s water polo team lost to No. 2-ranked Stanford, 12-8, tonight at the Olympic swim stadium. The loss snapped the Trojans’ 52-game winning streak and USC had not lost since 2015. Last night, beach volleyball duo Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes won their 100th straight match. The pair won three more matches until being upset vs. Saint Mary’s today.

  1. Very impressive winning streaks. Now that they got a lost out the way. It’s time to go on another winning streak, Fight On!!

  2. USC beach volleyball (55 consecutive dual-meet wins), and the two-time consecutive national champs, pummeled Saint Mary’s 4-1 in this match.

USC women’s water polo beat Stanford in the national championship match last season.

    • What will the f uuclans do when USC passes them by in total NCAA championships?

      • I’m confused Goop, Most Toejam whiners complain about the # of women’s NCAA NC’s in UCLA’s total.

What’s hilarious is that the only Toejam teams winning NC’s lately are the bozo u women teams.

Whine on Goop – bozo u still O Forever.

  3. Hmmm… After last weekends success, crickets. 2 losses this weekend and our intrepid reporter is all over it!

  4. Scott Wolf did continue his streak of posting at least one snarky USC related item. He extended his national record to an astounding 2823 days.

  5. Very impressive winning streaks. Now that they got the lost out the way. Time to start a new winning streak. Fight On!!✌

    • Same with UCONN women’s hoops. Sooner or later, very winning streak has to end and often improbably. It’s shocking that Claes/Hughes lost when they did but they’re still the #1 pair in the college sport and I’m sure will refocus and make USC only stronger.
