Josh Shaw Speaks

Here’s former USC cornerback Josh Shaw talking about the turning point for him regarding the famous incident when he claimed to jump off a balcony to save his drowning nephew, which turned out to be false.

“Look at my mom in her eyes and letting her know this wasn’t true,” Shaw said. “The one turning point was having to face my mom.”

  1. My goodness, this is such old news. He said it, apologized for it, he’s been forgiven. Can we move on now.

    • TE’s blocking also coming along well. TE spot may get most receptions this year.
Young WR’s coming along well too. OL is where I think we won’t have answers until September games. Defense will be lights out..

  2. Garry P, Johnny Curran, Greg Katz bring you the real Inside USC Inside LB talk at WeAreSC. 10 min podcast. John Houston starting to come into his own.

    • Houston coming into his own on and off field. He’s preparing for his career in Real estate. It’s nice to hear stories about player’s using their education..

      • Sounds like he’s on the right track. If he can just bulk up before September he should really step into Cam’s role while Cam fills in for Hutchings.

  3. Hey, man. Josh made a really detrimental decision in terms of affecting himself, his career, and his family. Was it extremely dumb? Yes. Did it again make USC look dumb? Yes. He paid for it by sittting I think almost that entire season. Good for him in terms of talking about it now and getting on an NFL roster despite that mess. He played well at USC.
