USC Spring Game Comparisons

How much less did fans see yesterday from a year ago during the final spring scrimmage? There were 33 running plays Saturday. Last year there were 49 running plays. There were 29 passes yesterday. There were 35 last year.

There were 84 plays last year. There were 62 yesterday. There were also eight touchdown plays last year and only one yesterday. What’s it mean? You’re $25 ($10 for a ticket, $15 to park) didn’t go as far as a year ago.

  1. What did last Saturdays practice/game mean? Not much. USC will have one of most dominating defenses along with one of the better OL lines in FBS this season.

    • Agreed, g.t. The ‘Spring Game’ has become one of those very rare ‘sporting events’ that is better enjoyed at a distance….and for free.

  2. Let it go SW. Would it be better if USC ran 80 plays and a couple of players got hurt?

You’re only upset because you don’t get the Pac-12 Network. Hard to believe you don’t have that access. So easy.

  3. I wish we could have seen the DLine and Oline go at it but I’m glad we didn’t push our guys who are resting injuries. Time for the guys to bulk up and get ready for summer workouts.
