  1. i guess i’ll be the one to break the shocking news…people care about football and football brings in money. because of that, they’re going to be a priority over other sports such as women’s soccer.

  2. Finding trouble in all corners of USC universe. Your auto google search must an interesting combination of words
    #GrinchofUSC

  3. And the women’s rings will only be 70% as big as the men’s! Oh, the scandal.

      • Lighten up, Marv. It wasn’t fake news, it was simply a joke as women are reportedly paid 70% of what a man earns in the US.

          • No doubt women make more $$$ than goop, the manly man – f*rt and belch loudly on little guy.

          • I rely on the Obama Administration Department of Labor academic study while you and your f uuclan boyfriend rely on a myth.

          • I don’t believe you. You sound like you’re quoting “Rump” stats invented by his Russki connection. How do you say “Alternative Facts” in Russian?

          • In 2009 wheh the Department of Labor study was done Obama was president. How do you say, ” You really aren’t very bright are you?” in Russian?

          • Ohhh be careful that’s hate speech just like citing health statistic if one engages in the ‘festive’ lifestyle….p3rvs rule everywhere….flaunting and flitting…hmmm oh no stop it you savage….ahhhh that’s the spot!

          • Again, lighten up Marv. I was making a joke and not a political statement. Either drink more or drink less. Your current blood alcohol level isn’t working.

          • The peckerhead is his gawd dawg and is real name is that lame axx song ‘the 66 guns’

          • Wrong on almost all counts. But I do play golf at Riviera.

            Have another drink, Comrade.

          • This is true, but I’m not a caddy although I did caddy for a friend years ago when it was called the Los Angeles Open.

Believe it or not, I don’t care. You aren’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, but you are definitely a tool.

          • 88,
His team of mental health professionals is still seeking an appropriate dosage.
Their suggestion he not post prior to optimization seems to go un-heeded thus far.

        • Total women’s combined revenue was 6.2 million and 18.5 million in expenses for UCLA. Care to respond.

          • It was a joke, LR. Go debate yourself. It’s obvious what the revenue sports are to everyone everywhere. I see you have re-appeared. I guess you served your time or made bail.

          • Didn’t seem like you were joking with all your other responses on this matter but if that’s what you want to call it now…whatever.

And I’m not banned on Inside USC. Funny how you’re not banned yourself. You care to explain what I have done that would have violated some terms vs yourself.

As I said before…everytime I expose the UCLA program or its reporters or the UCLA fans the result is the same. You babies cry to the moderator after getting slaughtered by me. It’s proven and you know it.

          • We’ve truly missed you. Were you banned from the UCLA site?

It would make sense. You have a great gift for pointing out the obvious. I’m sure the SC crew was unaware that basketball loses money and that they are primarily a football school. Where would they be without you?

          • Once again, pointing out the obvious is your specialty. Not sure what your comment has to do with anything. Are you making an anti-Title IX argument? Frankly, football should be excluded from the calculation, IMO, and have equal participation in the other sports. But again, not sure what this has to do with this thread.

Everyone knows that schools lose money on women’s sports. The only 2 revenue producing sports tend to be football and men’s basketball, although for many schools football is the only sport producing a profit. You think this is news?

          • Lame as usual. If you knew these facts you wouldn’t have made your stupid comments related to the ring size being 3 quarters, etc. You realized yet again you made a FOOL of yourself and accordingly tried to put it off that you were joking. LOL! Give it up you clown.

Think about it. If you knew Women’s programs lost as much money as they did you wouldn’t have made your original comment and you know it.

And don’t try and twist things around and try and put me in a certain position that I am anti Title 9. I already stated which I know you saw that I said that I’m not against Women’s programs. Wake up.

Go back to the beginning. I responded to the whining tool who seems to be upset that the Rose Bowl rings came in before the soccer rings.

          • One more reading fail on your part. And yes, everyone knows those facts. I was merely joking about the rings, my precious.

I’m sure female athletes throughout the country are celebrating the fact that you aren’t against women’s athletics programs. It will be great validation for them all.

        • How about their hands and fingers are 30% smaller than a man’s therefore, they only need a 70% ring.

          • Woodie the peckerhead is the small gawd and Sam Gilbert is the big one….nothing ever sticks to bel-air tech aka identical to the left-dem-commie party…Teddie in the car with mary Jo drowning or Klintonska raping a woman…nothing to see here go away….

    • Maybe you can get your 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Chelsea Clinton on the case.He father the beloved feminist president BJ Clinton loved one on one meetings for liberating women.

      • Wake me up when you realize that Trump isn’t actually a Conservative and that disliking him doesn’t make someone a liberal. I just happen to prefer my Republicans cut from the mold of Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower. They used to call that a moderate. From your perspective that’s a liberal but I don’t subscribe to your perspective.

Now he had a decent week with the strike on Syria and the MOAB in Afghanistan. He’s listening to some good advice. But for how long? Will he move back and cozy up to your boy Bannon? We will see. He does more flip flops than the gymnasts doing floor exercise.

        • I love it when you pretend you aren’t a full mooner Democrats. You are as moderate as Marx.

          • As I said, from your perspective I am liberal. You are hardly a mainstream thinker as a Breitbart loyalist. It’s all about what one is compared to. Where I live, I’m considered a conservative in this Bernie Sanders stronghold.

          • Sounds like you are really familiar with the goings on at UCLA. I have no idea nor would I ever accept your take on things. I’m sorry if UCLA rejected you at some point. Life moves on.

          • You only trust Po-LIB-ico’s take on things. You spout their propaganda like a trained myna bird. You are blissfully unaware of anything that doesn’t promote the Mediacrat Narrative, like the educrat persecution of a UCLA Communication Studies professor.

          • Actually I pay little attention to much other than sports at UCLA. You seem to be more wired in to things, but again I don’t agree with your take on many things, so I’m not going to automatically accept your description of things.

      • 22, Re: th “rump” tweet “we are sending an armada. Very Powerful.” in response to a NK missile test shot update.

Today, according to a Naval spokesman, “rump’s armada” is currently cruising leisurely off Australia.

        • I bet you miss the days of Obama cowering to the North Koreans and Iranians and smuggling arms to Mexican drug lords and Syrian Muslim terrorists.

  4. Morgan Andrews, please wear your USC Women’s Soccer National Championship Ring Proudly. Our Daily News USC Sports Journalist, SW, may wish to touch your Ring. He knows that will be the closest he will ever get to an Award of any kind.

  5. Football and football. Just give these young ladies their rings. They earned them, they are National Champions. As a fan of all USC sports, these ladies put on a show during the NCAA tournament. Women of USC sports do matter. Fight On!!!

    • We already have 2 National Championships in Soccer. Not bad for a program that’s only been around since 2007.

  6. No disrespect to any soccer fans. By the way my niece just signed her letter of intent last week to play soccer at UC Riverside, but the Rose Bowl and Football will always beat soccer in the United States.

    • Congrats to your niece. She must be an excellent player. I enjoy soccer, not at the same level as I enjoy football and basketball, but it’s possible to like them all.

      • I like napping to soccer games on the couch. Before you know it, it is the 88th minute and you didn’t miss a thing.

      • She wanted to play at some school somewhere in Minnesota. Yeah, I know that sounds crazy, but she ended up staying closers to home. Thanks. I do enjoy the world Cup.

        • The UC’s are all good schools and a free education and the opportunity to compete is a great thing. You may have to wear some blue and gold when you watch her play.

          • That’s good. She must be talented to earn a D-1 scholarship. Good for her. Hope you enjoy the games.

    • That must mean you are from a long line of stud athletes, right SAS?
Thanks for keeping us up to speed as to how awesome you are you blowhard.
Any other accolades you would like to heap upon yourself tonight?
Perhaps post photos of your Jr. High Most Improved Band Member trophy?

  7. To Morgan Andrews…the reason is because soccer doesn’t bring in revenue like football does.

For fiscal year ended June 30, 2016, the USC athletic dept topped 100 million with football bringing in 51.2 million and they only had total expenses of 31.2 million.

The next biggest revenue generator was Men’s basketball at 4.9 million but the expenses were 5.3 million.

The next highest revenue wise were as follows:

    Womens’ bball – 2.7 million
    Women’s rowing – 1.9 million
    Men’s baseball – 1.9 million

Soccer doesn’t even come up. All other sports are probably in the red. Only football is in the black and by a huge margin.

USC Football should come first. This is where Dan Guerrero and the UCLA Athletic Dept is a joke. They treat football like any other sport. There is no “special” treatment. This is why in my opinion UCLA football players leave early without accomplishing anything. Since the Athletic Dept is not dedicated to UCLA football…the UCLA football players are not dedicated to the program.

I guarantee for Alabama’s athletic department…football rules and it’s deserved. Until other non-football programs start bringing in the revenues…please just shut up and quit complaining.

As far as I know both UCLA football and basketball are profitable. These two programs deserve better treatment.

I found 2015 revenues for UCLA. 97 million total. Football was 44.7 million with only 26.9 million in expenses.

Basketball was 12.2 million with 8.2 million in expenses.

Total women’s combined revenue was 6.2 million and 18.5 million in expenses. What a joke.

      • I would say give it a bit more time. There was a time under Bob Boyd where USC was constantly 2nd to that of UCLA. On the flip side for football USC was 1 and UCLA 2.

What the heck has happened to these two programs…meaning USC basketball and UCLA football. So many other Pac-12 schools are passing these two up in recent years…especially Oregon.

    • Don’t hide the lies, it’s blatant sexual discrimination.
(P.S. be more careful when you recruit, SoCal)

      • Not exactly sure what you mean but for the record I’m not totally against the Women’s athletic programs but it’s quite sad that UCLA had to give up Men’s gymnastics and I believe one other previously top program.

The equal head count doesn’t make sense due to football being so large. I do feel there is a better compromise to this.

There has to be a better understanding as to how important football is to most athletic programs…or any sport which actually generates a profit over that which doesn’t.

        • Sorry, LRod, I came into this board late and just wanted to make some snarky comments without really knowing what the subject was.
It’s just what I do best.

        • I knew a poor sap who was on the ruin wrestling team who saw his sport disappear so the ruins could field more womyn’s teams.
