The question answers itself, Scott. The Coliseum will be dangerously torn up by mid September. Maybe this will be the year it’s safer playing Notre Dame in South Bend.

Ach und liber mein herr – ferstais! This means those thieving ‘ganef’ Rams will be tasked to repair the field twice after we play both Stanford and TX and whose kidding – USC will outdraw both the Colts (Stanford) and the Redskins (ooohhh how I love that ‘NOT’ politically correct name) (TX)…..

BTW Scottie-pooh, the 10th is the first game of the NFL 2017 Season – rest assured the ‘lambs’ will have the field immaculate and hope like you know what they draw >50K…..bel-air tech is playing HI at the Rose Bowl the day before a mere ‘6’ days after playing TX A&M on Sunday 3rd Sept. to garner any ink for the squad and that ‘challenged’ individual ‘Jimmah’ Mora and that ‘leader of men’ ‘Josh Rosen’ (one wonders what his linemen think of that p&tz).

Gosh I miss Rick Neuheisel – lousy coahc but a great interview…..

a mere 19 weeks f4rom this coming Saturday – USC vs. Western-MI! With ucla my sucklah owing their game to the 3rd because a MAC opponent can outdraw an SEC opponent – go figure?

    • Pasadena Trojan

I love the fact that the Washington Redskins did not buckle under the Political Correctness Nazi’s. The owner said tot he Nazi’s, stick it in your ear, the Redskins honor the Native Americans. A lot of the NA like the name. The name has been around longer than the dirty stinking hippie commies of Ugly and Berkley, so let the snowflakes melt.

      • Alvarado

Yup gone are the: LAUSD HS – Birmingham Braves, Gardena Mohicans, Arcadia Apaches on and on and yet there stand the Washington Redskins – hey Plaschke promised today he won’t refer to them as Redskins when he covers DC in any of his ‘pc’ columns for the Times.

L’Etas-Unis’ d’Amerique has a great article specific to Darnold by ‘P’ Myerberg…it’s a lead story over on yaw-hoo entitled college football ‘must-see’ ‘qb’

So glad barakska is finally gone….barakska…the clown that gottsta keep on golfeska

    • Jethro G Sabbath

What are your thoughts on our current commander in chief heading down to Florida and playing golf most weekends?

      Just askin’

      • Alvarado

How bout’ I throw it back to both you and your clueless generation of morons who think this mess hasn’t been manageable the past 24 years before Trump arrived huh?

Just where was ‘barak$ka the past 8 yrs. per No. Korea? How about that huh? Here we are on the near brink of a potential nuclear strike due to documented indolence for 24 consecutive years with homicides exceeding >600 in 2016 in Chicago-IL, a medical insurance program busted and a hemorrhaging debt for the past 8 years that produced nothing but more corruption for his friends and some how some way a new President in <100 days is already deemed incompetent.

'blank' the left-reds and their flunkies that know no history of why America is the envy of the world…good riddance to the golf playing jack scre#ing clown and his corrupt band of affirma&ive action a@@hole@ ra&ist trash?

Sorry Jethro but I am tired of the MSM and the lies they strew….Kim Il Soon is a south central gangbanger who has a nuclear weapon and thanks to the golf player he's had 8 years to hone it.

        • Uncle Rico

Wow, somebody needs his nap and to put down the bottle.

He didn’t respond to me, must’ve passed out.

          • Alvarado

Be nice be nice….old people go o sleep earlier than you gen Xer’s.

Sorry for the rant Mr. Bodine

          • Jethro G Sabbath

No worries. It’s all in good fun

        • Jethro G Sabbath

          Pump the brakes comrade!
Let’s say for argument’s sake that all of our problems are Obama’s fault. With so many fires to put out, how can your boy possibly justify heading south and playing golf most every weekend? I thought things were going to be different and you have made it pretty clear that you don’t approve of golf, right?

          • Alvarado

Yup don’t care for golf assumed he didn’t either as to living primarily in FL you got me it does keep the MSM at bay and living proof this guy dances to his own tune

          • Jethro G Sabbath

I just have to point out hypocrisy and this one was too easy. Not just you but anyone who complained about Obama playing too much golf or spending too much taxpayer money on travel and secret service protection ought to have the same concerns about Trump,
            right?

          • Alvarado

I believe I did sir but I might add I looked on yon internet and found no factual comparison btwn Barakska and the Donald specific to golf. You, I assume, have uncovered what is known as ‘hearsay’ from media outlets that have no animus towards the current chief executive sir.

          • Jethro G Sabbath

What about travel costs and Secret Service?

          • Alvarado

Well now you’re looking for scraps and sawdust to bolster your claim and there is absolutely no comparison of what Barakska cost taxpayers with his entourage and the travel they billed us for – no comparison. Trump has declined to take any salary and i can assure you attendant costs above and beyond the immediate needs of his office will be re-reimbursed by him unlike the golfing pro thankfully gone.

I bid you adieu re. this matter – I am remiss in my delving far too much in political matters.

Off to the book fair on the morrow- tally ho!

          • Jethro G Sabbath

Scraps and sawdust, you’re kidding, right? With his wife and kid living in NY and the trips to Florida, Trump is on track to spend in less than one year what Obama spent in eight years in office. That’s a fact.
Not taking a salary is a nice gesture but $97M will buy an awful lot of scraps and sawdust.

          • Pasadena Trojan

Sabbath, let me chime in. Trump is going to Florida. He is playing golf. Is this every weekend? If you don’t mind, let me throw a couple of thoughts on this. If it is a slow weekend, let him take time off. If it is a busy weekend, then it is his descresion to go play golf. However, I think if he does go and plays golf, he will be advised on what is going on, whereas Obuma was not. BTW, the fleet won’t be there until Monday, so he can’t get a true assessment until Monday. But Alvarado is right, Obuma should have done what Trump is doing now. Obuma should have not allowed Kim to even start a nuclear program. So if we go to nuclear war, place the blame on the schister, no good bum Obuma.

          • gotroy22

It’s fun to see which posters get their talking points from the Clinton News Network. Suddenly libs are all worried that Trump, a 3 handicap golfer, might be playing too much golf. It is as if Obama, with a swing even worse than Charles Barkley’s, didn’t set a record with 300 rounds of golf….

          • Jethro G Sabbath

Trump has made 7 trips to Mar-a-Lago since taking office, that’s over half the weekends.
            You’re okay with that?
Are you okay with him outspending Obama on Secret Service protection at a rate of 10-1?

    • Pasadena Trojan

Obuma needs jail time. That schister made Slick Willey look like a choir boy. If I saw Obuma or Slick Willey, I would spit at their feet. Dishonorable and deplorable pieces of cru, the both of them.

      • Alvarado

Nah you’re wrong there – as bad as Barakska was and is no one plundered this nation the way Cousin Bill and ‘La Bruja’ did – Cray Computers sold to Red China, White House over nights for donors to Bill’s favorite funds, the ‘Clinton Foundation’ raking in millions for favors tendered by ‘La Bruja’ when she was Sec of State, discovery of the body of Vince Foster, Web Hubbel, cattle futures, Monica Lewinsky, Juanita Broaddarick, Kathleen Willey, death of Ron Brown, private E-mail server, getting Mark Rich – biggest IRA tax evader in the history of the US a pardon. Remember Eric Holder was the go-between bag man for that stunt. Epstein’s perv island junkets for Cousin Bill – truly the most corrupt pair to ever surface – courtesy of the demokratiche partei.

Ever notice how the dead always vote for the dems – they always do.

Oh no you made Owns and Kissy86er cry.

  • Alvarado

    Fire Scoscia now!

    • Sas

      Already?

      • Michael Guarino

Hey Sam! Thanks for the ESPNU Spring Blitz tip! Jason Sehorn kind of validated a big concern of mine:Texas. He thinks the game is going to be tougher than Stanford. And anyone who watched Texas’ Spring Game would have to agree. They’re fast, disciplined and motivated.

        • 04Trojan

Same. Wouldn’t have known about if not for you. I watched as well. Good call.

          • Michael Guarino

The problem with Texas is we don’t know what to expect —other than the fact they’ll be totally pumped.

          • Alvarado

Yeah well good luck – how’d that work out last year vs. AL and Browne? Believe me if TX comes in with that same mindset it’ll be a bigger beatdown – 1st year coach and a depleted roster and TX don’t have a Darnhold on the bench nor in the pipeline.

          • Michael Guarino

Alv, I think you might want to check out the # of 4 star players returning at Texas —-and I’m not sure “first year coach” adequately describes what Tom Herman brings to the table. That said, I predict we beat those guys —-but it ain’t gonna be easy.

          • Alvarado

Then he’s a magician and he sure didn’t seem very much like one the way HOU closed out the seasons this past year. Look the All America Conference is not very challenging – take a look at their opponents last year. They defeated OK to start the year but the rest were not much – Navy took em’ down but the real expose was how they ended 2016 – lost to Memphis and then that pounding at the hands of San Diego St.

Many would say Herman was on his way out of there and rumored to be for weeks on end – fair enough and he had a great 1st year 12 – 1 then laid an egg this past year.

Not saying he isn’t a comer but not the first year and not with the culture of kookiness
that Strong left them with in Austin.

Get past their starting 22 and see what depth they have – this is true with all programs attempting to step it up or gain a smidgen of relevance (i.e. bel-air tech – can’t and never shall be able to recruit in depth – no one wants to sit on Mora’s or any ucla coaches bench). TX ‘should’ be there in 2019

        • Sas

I can’t wait until we play the Longhorns.

          • Michael Guarino

I watched the Texas Spring Game, Sam —–Herman has them playing fast and physical. We’re gonna need our run game humming to make up for the inexperience of our receivers (who knows if Steven Mitchell will survive Stanford)….and I’m not sure we can count on Ronald Jones to carry the load. Hope Ware is ready to assume a much bigger role. Bottom line: this is gonna be THE game that determines the season —not Stanford.
Thanks again for the tip re ESPN. I think it’s pretty clear those guys think we’re gonna have our hands full with Texas, too (…but nothing we can’t handle, right)?!

  • LamontRaymond

I’d rather be a Trojan player than a Ram! We’ll get the fresh field – not the chopped up field from the day before. Nice scheduling, NFL!

  • 04Trojan

Aaaahhhh, the beauty of bermuda grass…

  • Ignore_the_trolls

If it does not rain, it should probably be OK. If it happens to rain, then all bets are off. The Rams will suffer more than SC.

  • Pasadena Trojan

Scooter, if you look at the schedule, the USC games are ahead of the Rams games. We don’t care how the field will look after USC plays. The Rams have to fix it. It will be a week in between the Colts and Texas game. They will do normal maintenance by cutting the grass, watering, fertilizing, and paint the field with a fertilizer in the paint. It is the ground crew that will have to do the work to keep the field up. Not yours nor my problem.

    • Alvarado

Agreed – they thought nothing of screwing the City/Count of Saint Louis out of a billion dollars to re-locate that clown franchise

  • Pac12 fan

Field will be resodded after the Rams /Washington game or the rest of the year will be a mess
