USC’s athletic dept. makes great videos. So here’s a suggestion: Update the inconic Lite Beer ad with George Steinbrenner and Billy Martin. Just insert Lynn Swann and Mark Trakh. At the end, Steinbrenner says, “You’re hired” dubbed over the original “You’re fired” after he brought Martin back to manage the Yankees. And then Martin says, “Not again.”

If Swann wants a good legacy, then he will announce a men’s soccer team or lacrosse team. Maybe women’s gymnastics or softball are on the horizon. I, for one, want to see men’s ice hockey or soccer. What say you people?
They all cost money and none of them with the ‘possible exception’ of mens soccer, are money makers. Man oh man forget womens softabll….beer league admits that tip the scales at 200 lbs on up….heifers primarily from Wilmington, Harbor City and Carson.
I think Wolf meant this as a put down but Steinbrenner was one of the great owners of all time.
