Seat Charge/Season Ticket Relocation For Coliseum Information

USC just released a video regarding changes with the Coliseum restoration project and how it is going to affect every season-ticket holder.

Key quotes from Lynn Swann: “About one-third of of the seating will require a one-time Coliseum restoration gift.”

And this:  (Every season-ticket holder) will go thru an individual re-seating process over the next 15 months.”

I guess they didn’t want to do the Lite Beer video I suggested but produced the video below, which should answer your questions about the Coliseum. Hopefully.

  1. I heard that part of the restoration gift will go into refurbishing the Rose Bowl since USC owns it too.

  2. With the new stadium for the Rams and the Chargers the competition for football ticket sales is growing!

    • But ucla football stinks as usual so SC’s really the only CFB game in town worth watching. It’s good too be king of L.A.

  3. “A one-time Coliseum restoration gift.” Translation: sticking it to the loyal fans. Where is all the money going that the Rams are paying to use to Coliseum?

  4. There is no way I am going to pay a single dime more for my seats than what I already paid in February. This is beyond extortion what USC is trying to do to us. Why would you reduce the seating capacity of the Coliseum when interest is growing in football ? This was Haden’s stupid idea. Get that guy away from the Coliseum. The Big 10 and SEC schools have 100,000 seat stadiums that are filled each week.

    • That’s the one name no one mentioned – Haden. Since he was outted last year – gone – no where to be seen nor any follow-up let alone blow back to what he did at the Mayr Foundation.

  5. I’ll keep my 4 seats and pay the fee if required. It sounds like it will be tax deductible like the TAF contribution so I’ll write it off.

  6. Does belonging to Cardinal and Gold count towards the one time fee? Will the City of L.A. help with the costs? The City of Pasadena took on $180 million to renovate the Rose Bowl. Will the Rams and the soccer team pitch in? How much will it cost per ticket holder? When does this project start?

  7. Even with a major renovation, they’re going to leave those chintzy bleacher seats in one end-zone?
The answer has always been to lower the field and add seats around the bottom.
