A USC-Coliseum Question

If you are a season-ticket holder contacted by USC this week about your seats for the Coliseum renovation, one question I would ask: Are the seats next to the new “tower” being built going to have an obstructed view of the field?

  1. Question to all – just where will: Pat Haden’s, Lynn Swann’s, Nikias et. al. seats going to be and will they be inconvenienced in anyway even when they are ‘shown the door’?

Haden man what a sweet ride he’s had all these years and what with him as the ‘wizard of Exposition Park and all things related to his wanting to be Albert Speer just where can we all expect to see him ensconced with this new renovation?

I’m betting there is a sweet little cubby hole for not just Pat but others who want to be able to whisk themselves in and out without having to mix with the rabble kind of like that elevator at the Galen Center open only to designated high rollers.

Time for you to do some digging Scott’s per the deal Haden has created for himself.

  2. Ridiculous to assume any seats with obstructed views of any part of the actual field of play would ever be sold. Silly to even put that out there.

    • Agree, Scott is hanging his hat on that picture. There will be some obstruction but they will work around having any seats in that area. They should put seats there for Scott because he sees everything as half empty.

      • In honor of SW, they should sell off the cheapest and worst seats in a special area called the Wolf Section.

  3. The suites that hold 25 people, bar, and bathroom sound like the way to go. Our group is usually 12-15, but we may look into this.

  4. Scooter, that is a smart question to ask. Good job. Btw, that is the first question I will ask.

  5. Simple solution for any obstructed view seats……Visitor Section, particularly Notre Dame fans

  6. I was at the spring game and Lynn Swann was sitting with the crowd on the south side of the Coli.

  7. Can Coach Helton and his team recruit or what!
As of right now we have the #2 Qb in the country ,and #1 in the West
The #1 OLB linebacker in the country
The # 4 OLB in the country ,and #2 in the west
The #5 OLB in the country ,
The #5 DT in the country ,and #1 in the West

  8. Why do the powers to be continue to waist seating space on the East end? And those tacky portable bleachers won’t go away. Who is determined to keep it that way?

  9. The real question that goes unanswered by Lynn Sean, Max Nikias, and Pat Haden is why is there a need to reduce seating capacity at the Coliseum ? This reduction will force out members of the public who cannot afford season tickets. The Coliseum was paid for with tax dollars and should remain available to the public.
