Michael Norman Is Back

Remember Michael Norman, the prep phenom who almost made the Olympic team last summer? He’s now a freshman at USC but has been injured most of the track season. He ran today at the USC-UCLA dual meet, however, and won the 400 meters of 45.22.

      • Pudly76, with his fabulous wheels, Michael Norman might consider football a gigantic step in the wrong direction. World Class Track Stars have the entire planet for a backyard, without getting beat up. 76, did you ever run the 400 meters ?

        • Yup, I realize that, just thinking back to Bob Hayes, Renaldo Nehemiah and some of those boys. I remember watching Issac Curtis in high school, boy he could fly…

      • Ron Brown could not catch a football early in his nfl career.. He had some lightening speed, once he learned to catch, run and take a nfl hit, he turned out to be a good wideout. Willie Gault too..

  1. The Inland Empire has a great one representing them proudly with Michael Norman! My brother told me a few years ago after watching Norman run at one of my niece’s track meets that this one kid who dominated the day was going to SC and he’s gonna be in the Olympics i thought he a was overexcited because he knew the kid was set to go to USC but Norman is a serious star for the sport and I hope he continues to push USC and the track team!
    I. E. Represented!
