The Lott IMPACT Trophy is awarded to college football’s Defensive IMPACT Player of the Year. Will there ever be a Beban Award. How about a Aikman Award or a Cross Award that would be given to the most outstanding offense player in college football. Maybe there is one that I’m not aware of. Please let me know if such a award exists.

    I realize that. But why isn’t there a award named after a Bruin football player recognizing greatest on the football field? And, if there wasn’t the Lott Impact Trophy, what award would those two Bruins have won?
