USC Golf Falls To Illinois

Illinois defeated USC, 3-1-1, in the NCAA quarterfinals this morning.

Another wonderful choke job by the Trojans. They were ranked #1 most of the year. Fell apart on the last day of regulation golf, and then continued their decline in match play. Could not make even the semis. Believe they won five tournaments during the season which meant absolutely nothing. They can join hands and clubs with the women for commiserating. Sorry to be so harsh, but this is not the first time for the men to lose under pressure when it really counts.
Guess having a former ‘ruin for a coach is the kiss of death. Maybe now AD Swann can get to work finding coaches that know how to win.
