Picture Of The Day

I think Cliff Robinson is an underappreciated USC basketball player — not even on the ballot for the USC Hall of Fame — despite being the 11th pick in the 1979 NBA draft and playing in the league until 1989. He averaged 18.7 points for the Washington Bullets in 1985-86. Here he is above in 1979 vs. UCLA at the Sports Arena.

  1. I recall patting Cliff on the back right before the end of a ball game at Pauley, and how he looked back to see who had done it. Funny things we recall.

  2. Isn’t the 11th pick in the NBA some sort of SoCal basketball all-time record?

      • Ed, When you compose a comment, how do you decide which words to intentionally misspell?
