Okay first of all disassociation of an athlete by the NCAA is not a campus ban. It is simply the NCAA saying you cannot use the name, likeness or other mention of said athlete as a recruiting tool or enticement. The games are played at public venues and as such cannot be expected to be regulated in a manner which reflects a ban. Reggie Bush cannot stand on the sideline and cannot visit the locker room, but who would know if he attended a game? The sports writers and in a- large part Pat Haden called it a ban, but it is only a ban when it refers to contact with the team or its players.
And there are still people drinking the NCAA Koolaid that believe what Bush & Family did was 5x worse than what any college athlete ever did.
