USC Ranked No. 12

USC is No. 12 in the Rivals recruiting rankings with 11 commitments for the Class of 2018. Will all of those commitments sign letters of intents? Will USC drop anyone? This is why some of this remains ridiculous.

  1. I could give a rip about some ‘analyst’ seedings on position.

The kids want to play here at Troy.

USC gives more players a shot for the NFL than any other school.

      • Yeah that ganef entity that stole that land from those original ‘Angelinos’ to build their stadium. O’Malley paid a skin flint $200K for the entire parcel and the morons in the city even threw in the mineral rights. Then magnaminous ‘Malley, when the Angels popped up, agreed to sell ‘Los Angeles’ to Gene Autry for, you guessed it, $200K.

What is so sweet is that back in 2005 the new Angel owner Arte Moreno resurrected the old name ‘Los Angeles’ with ‘Angels’.

McCord went nuts as did Selig even the dawg named vinnie mocked it as a publicity stunt but what was so sweet is that there was nothing the league or brooklyn or even the rear end of a donkey vin-dawg could block it.

BTW you didn’t see me posting as the Angels scored last night – I waited til the end as most prudent fans do – I imagine you do the same when USC is playing hmmm?

        Best to you Sas.

        • Stop it. Those days are over. That was life. Life was like that. Mexicans got pushed out. That’s not right, but that was like 60 years ago. Life moves along and……….
          The Dodgers are Los Angeles.

          • Not homeowners – all that land the Disney bought was back in the early 1950’s and he learned the hard way to never tell the small land owners his plan because when word got out he was planning on that location in the OC the price of the asking prices tripled.

You’re Hispanic I believe you hail from the eastside Boyle Heights or City Terrace – do some research on what a thieving con O’Malley did to those homeowners in the ravine – it is the reason I loath the dodgers and always shall.

          • I remember many years ago (occasionally), that Ralph Story did a piece on Chavez Ravine that talked extensively on the people who were forced out. I, too, could never bring myself to root for the dodgers after that. Terrible moment in the history of LA.

          • I still remember my dad looking with anger at the TV screen with the LAPD their police dogs forcing the people out of their homes for O’Malley.

Walter was a real prince – in house counsel for the Dodgers and owner Brach Rickey and he (O’Malley) secretly began acquiring shares of stock until he had controlling interest and then threw Rickey out Anyone really believe O’Malley would have done what Rickey did for Jackie Robinson? Fat chance

          • Is that Avocado whining about the Chavez Ravine, Dodger Stadium land grab. Avocado must be on a bender.

I doan’t hear Dodger latino fans whining.

          • Squatter, because they are too busy fighting and creating Raider Nation South Division. Once again, dodger fan starts a fight. Crude bunch. Makes Liverpool fans look tame. Go Angels.

          • I never understood why the Angels are ashamed to call themselves the Orange County Angels. They are as much LA as Oxnard.

          • The Angels are the true team of LA. They were started on 41st and Central. They played at Wrigley Field which now is a public govt. building

          • Can anyone explain why they have the cheesy Disneyland mine ride rocks and water falls where most teams have bleachers?

          • I watched some GREAT Rock Shows there. The Stones, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top.

          • I seen Stone Temple Pilots there. I’m just kidding i don’t hate it, but I’m not an Angels fan. They hate the Dodgers we don’t hate them. That’s the truth.

          • Are you kidding? The LAA hate the LAD? You can take a family to Anaheim and enjoy the game you go to thug land and watch the gang activity on Thursday evenings and the indifference to any kind of crowd control.

Cursing threats mocking – it’s sweet down in Anaheim to see a game.

          • Dodgers are a baseball organization. The Angels needed a gimmick of Walt Disney to get young people to notice them. You also hurt Christopher Lloyd’s acting career by associating him with the Angels.

            It’s the truth.

            #Angels in the Outfield

          • Is that it? That’s all you’ve got? Some comparison to a lousy film made decades ago?

The most pathetic pile of trash is the listening to all the fawning back end of horses singing to vin-dawg “How beautiful art thou!” over and over again. I swear the man dog named Vin could have just shot someone be standing there with the smoking gun in his hand and that ‘aw shucks not me’ face of a grinnin jacka$$ and he’d get a city hall citation for not hurting anyone.

The man-dog is appearing at the Hollywood Bowl – maybe you can get a gig sweeping the stairs if you didn’t get in one the lottery for a seat….just sayin’….if you don’t go to church you can use going to see him as equal to the real thing….vin-dawg

          • Is that it?

Let’s count how many Division Titles, NL Pennants, or World Series we both have and we can squash any argument.

            I’ll be waiting….

          • Hey how about that sweet deal the bums mgmt. did on the cable deal these past 3+ years? Watching brooklyn play the Angels this week – man Bellinger looks like a 18 year old kid.

          • No never in fact vin-dawg was/is a perfect fit for the dodgers truly perfect.

          • We’re both passionate about the blue and the red. Dodgers and Angels. It gets heated in this rivalry. It’s just playful back and forth. But we’re always cool with each other Alvarado. Me and you are always good!

          • I met ZZ Top when I worked at Nike in Cabazon back in 2001. They were really cool and polite.
And I met Alice Cooper there that summer also. It was real strange hearing him asking for Dri-Fit and running shoes.

        • You forgot to mention how the City Council were such whores for the dodgers at that time gave all parking rights to the O’Malley’s. The City does not collect one dime from parking. That is where the money is.

          • Now it all goes to the Parking Lot Attendant and his ex-wife the Screaming Meanie.

          • Yeah good ole’ ‘Norris Poulson’ – what the heck kind of name is that? Sounds like a law firm with two last names.

That clown lost to Sam Yorty on the tin cans and trash issue. We all had to separate one from the others (whcih we do today) but back then it had nothing to do with ‘ecology’ it was because Otis Chandler had a relative that owned a scrap yard on the east side in Vernon. Yorty found out and beat ‘Poulson’ and Sam earned the undying hatred of the Chandler/Times media.

There was an example of a Republican (Poulson) acting like a demokwat and a real democrat (Yorty) acting like a Republican,.

  2. Why cover the ridiculous SW? None of us come here for recruiting info anyway, unless it’s from another SC poster. SC will finish top 5 as usual, for whatever that’s worth.

  3. Owns has three new commits for the burger flipping station at McD’s. All 2*s ….but so was Owns at Cerritos College.

  4. How come SW get to ask us questions, but never seems to answer our questions when it comes to him.
