The Tone-Deaf Pac-12

The Pac-12 is not the SEC or Big Ten in terms of audience or interest. So the conference should try a little harder when it has good media opportunities. So it is pretty inconceivable that neither Washington State QB Luke Falk nor UCLA QB Josh Rosen will not be at the conference’s media days in July.

Now when I say Pac-12, I don’t blame the conference completely. It needs the power to be able to tell UCLA or Washington State that it will bring its marquee quarterbacks whether Jim Mora or Mike Leach want to do it.

    • Yeah, the whole premise of this is pretty absurd, unless you happen to get excited about guys in golf shirts giving canned responses “how do you think the team looks this year?” Oh, man Luke Falk just said that the team is working harder than ever! Rosen thinks UCLA is going to bounce back this year! How much worse would it be if the coaches all brought the long snappers and equipment managers instead?

  1. They should threaten to withhold tens of millions of dollars from any school who doesn’t… never mind they already do..

  2. hmmm,,,seams like usc is alredy makeing excuses, u cant make this up, lmfao!

    • That’s messed up. I can’t believe Rosen won’t be at Pac-12 Media Days. Your thoughts?

    • SC needs no excuses to beat up on you little gutty wimps.

Playing the bruins nowadays is just like a scrimmage for the Trojans. You bend over. SC slaps your footballers around like the losers you always are.

Do you think you’ll ever play in the Rose Bowl game again. Oh, that’s right. You don’t care. It’s been so long, and you always lose the game anyway. Hah, hah, hah.

  3. Why does the Pac 12 conference let the coaches tell them who they will bring? It’s the tail wagging the dog.

  4. Mora may be inept but he isn’t a fool i.e. Rosen has a well deserved reputation for saying and doing things that embarrass his team and his school.

  5. The problem with the PAC-12 conference starts at the top, the presidents who really don’t give a damn about competing for National championships. Hell they don’t even care to make the playoffs. They are in it just for the money and even the money is 3rd rate compared to the other conferences. Larry Scott is a failure as are the presidents in not telling him to get the conference into DirecTV or else! Bunch of tree-hugging snowflakes.
