USC vs. UCLA

USC is going to take Sam Darnold and Cameron Smith to Pac-12 media days next month. It’s a logical move with Darnold the favorite for the Heisman Trophy. But UCLA is not bringing quarterback Josh Rosen, which makes little sense. This has Jim Mora’s control-freak persona all over it.

  2. Even as an SC fan I don’t want anything bad to happen to Rosen. The contrary- I hope he does awesome except against the Trojans.

  6. Mora, aka The Chimp, has turned into a bleeping nightmare for ucla, both on and off the field. Long may The Chimp stay at ucla, the most under-performing college football program the nation has ever seen.

    I smell another bad moon risin’ over Wimpwood this football season. I doubt Rosen survives on the field until the SC game but I sure hope he makes it so USC can give him yet another loser memory he’ll never forget.

        • This is how bad The state of UCLA football is.
          They hire a OC who was fired at his last job for non-performance. After he gets hired at UCLA, he throws his name in the ring for the OC at Alabama.
          Then they hire some guy by the name of Hank Farley for OL coach. He too was fired from his previous job for the same reason. In 2016 the Minn. Vikings had the worst rushing team in the NFL.
          Not only that. Dan Guerrero Signs Mora to a to a extension thru 2021. A barely-publicized subsection of Jim Mora’s 2013 contract extension made his contract one of the hardest in college football to terminate and his recent extension this past summer put Mora in the realm of Steve Alford when it comes to immovable Bruin coach contracts. Not only are they stuck with Mora, because a big buyout clause in that extension, it would too expensive to fire him. On top of that Dan Guerrero’s contract is set to expire in 2019.   7. Josh Rosen is a primadona. He’s in love with himself. He didn’t want to go to UCLA. He wanted Stanford first and then SC second. Neither offered him. Why wouldn’t QB U(Stanford) not offer a scholarship to the best high school QB in the country, especially when he let them know that they were his dream school. Rosen settled for UCLA.
