Memo To Reggie Miller

REGGIE.MILLER

Remember when Reggie Miller whined last year, inaccurately, that USC did not properly honor his sister, Cheryl Miller, at the Galen Center because she shared a banner with other USC players that had their numbers retired?

Well, here’s an idea. Since USC is supposed to unveil a 30-foot statue of Hecuba at the new USC Village, maybe someone can call Miller and have him pay for a 30-foot statue of Cheryl Miller that can stand next to Hecuba. Just make the payment to “USC,” Reggie.

  1. What about Reg’s brother Darrell Miller formerly with the LAA? Darrell’s working down in Compton as the Director of the Urban Youth Academy any word on how he feels or is this the usual whining orphan red haired step child all ucla alums exhibit anytime USC is involved.

  2. Bad call Mr. Wolf, the nut belongs on bozo u’s card. Ms. Miller is, in fact, the greatest ex-Toejam basketball player.

      • Cheryl was certainly the best of her era and better than that Drysdale “chick” who was quite good herself. As a matter of fact, that Drysdale “dude” was pretty special as well. And nasty!

          • My first game was the 4th game of the 1963 World Series. I was just a kid and didn’t know the history of the Dodgers and Yankees. But I certainly remembered Sandy Koufax and big Frank Howard.

Why the dislike of the Dodgers?

  3. its gonna take a lot of blue and gold paint to douse two 30 ft tall statues….hmm maybe if we rig up a fleet of drones…..

  4. Oh Reggie, I always respected your game and hustle but you still have a mouth on you that could fit in at the zoo.

    • Reggie was defending his family. Yes, he has a big mouth. The kid that SI said couldn’t beat his sister played with a huge chip on his shoulder. But he was a great player as was Cheryl. I would expect anyone to stand up for family, rightly or wrongly. Loyalty matters.
