  1. Those who can do, the rest hope. Didn’t he get his shot? Oh well, maybe if the ruins play 14 on defense, huh?
    What a piece.

  2. Hey! Look! A comment that is even beneath Bruin standards!

      • Every time I think they’ve reached the bottom of the barrel, it turns out to be one of those cheap magician’s false bottoms……

  3. ugh, this is so embarasing cuz arnold is a football player and not a boxing player, smdh!

  4. Poor Tak – reduced to begging for an injury. The entire little gutty squad now knows their best talent from last year understands ucla has absolutely no shot at beating Big Sam.

Bye bye bruins. Hopefully, you’ll win six games this season, make a bad bowl and lose it. It won’t be as fun for us SC people to watch as the famous 2016 disaster bruin season, but it’ll still be pretty good.

      • Given what USC is capable of doing to UCLA on 11/18/17, I think the Bruins should think about whether this is the way they want to play things….

        • It won’t be pretty. Bobble Head Ed must be shaking his head like a mad bruin. Rattle, rattle, rattle.

          • You know what, Jack? Given the steady coarsening of Bruin posts on this site, I think we’re gonna see a lot more of this. (As if our 2017 team needed any extra motivation. Come 11/18/17 it’s really gonna be a case of “you asked for it, you got it”)…..

          • Our Charlie (whose sense of humor separates him from the rest of the Bruin pack), has reappeared in the form of the individual Jack refers to as Bobble Head Ed…..

          • Jim hope he didn’t kick the bucket. I never did understand why he was hung up on prophylactics

          • Of the last 250 post on Inside UCLA, how many have been about the Under Armour deal? About 125-150. If so, is the best that UCLA can talk about? If so, Bruin Football is in trouble!…Fight On!

          • I hadn’t even realized that until you mentioned it, Pete. Good call —they’ve actually given up on what counts. Talk about a fan base that’s got it’s priorities screwed up…..

          • When UCLA had Brett Hundley they could play with just about anyone in the country. Hundley was a dynamic QB who could keep the chains moving forward. Hundley very seldom was thrown for a loss. He would keep moving around looking for a receiver or would scramble for a gain or throw the ball away. So now instead of taking a sack and having a 2nd and 15 or 20, you have a 2nd and 10. That’s huge. In order for UCLA’s offense to be successful in 2017 the offense line has to very good in both run and pass blocking. That’s because Rosen is going to sit in the pocket and go through his reads and pick out a receiver. The receivers have to be superior to the DB’s and LB because they need to get open. If they don’t the OL starts to breakdown. The running backs also have to be very good. Not only in running but also in blocking. This takes a lot of talent to run this type of Michigan offense. My opinion is UCLA might think about changing coaches and go get a young HC like Mike Norvell or Dino Babers. Barbers is interesting. He use to be a ” Three yards and a cloud of dust “coach. After being with Art Briles in 2008, he is now a air raid guy. He took over as Eastern Illinois head coach in 2012, and by 2013, he had Jimmy Garoppolo throwing for 5,000 yards and winning 12 games. He moved to Bowling Green in 2014, and by 2015, Matt Johnson was throwing for 4,900 yards for a MAC title team. Mike Norvell can move the ball against anyone given the talent. UCLA might not Win any NC, PAC 12 or even the PAC 12 South. But they would be fun to watch.

          • I mostly agree, Pete. But let’s look at what UCLA has to look forward to in 2017 under Mora and Rosen. [Even with a VERY talented receiving corps], Rosen’s demonstrated inability to scramble effectively, coupled with a very average O-Line, is going to lead to a ton of misfires on offense. Mora knows this— and honestly believes he’s gonna be able to rely on defense. Bottom line—-UCLA won’t win the Pac 12, or even the PAC 12 South….AND they won’t be fun to watch.

          • Three OC’s in three years, not a good sign, their offense, especially their line will most likely be no more than a dumpster fire.

    • They have no class. Look at Johnny Cheetin’ Wooden. A cheater and a liar. And it goes down hill from there.

  5. Don’t mean nothin. Just talk from someone who played for a hack football team.

  6. Sam is a QB in a linebackers body. Nobody is going to knock him out. Get used to it.

  7. Even in the cleanest football sense of this phrase, it shows no class. A lot is fair in the SC/Bruin rivalry but not this.

  8. This kid only stated the obvious. I thought it was every defensive player’s dream to knock out the quarterback.

Sure worked for Alabama in a championship game a few years back. And don’t the SUCLAs still revel in Barr taking down Barkley’s future?

    • If it’s “every defensive player’s dream” then the sport is officially in the toilet. For shame.

      • The “sport” should be outlawed, especially at the NFL level. These Neanderthals are hit men, nothing less. And you don’t think that ‘getting the quarterback’ is the name of the game for the defense?

  9. BIG NEWS‼️‼️‼️‼️
Bol Bol was just crystal balled to SC‼️Rivals also has him to SC‼️✌️✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌️✌✌✌

  10. Gutty Little Bruins upset because Darnold did more in two games at the Rose Bowl than Rosen has in two years there

  11. What’s a fcking “takkarisk”?

Sounds like something that needs to be surgically removed…or frozen off, like a wart…or something you can’t scrape off the bottom of your shoe…

  12. It all starts at the top and this has been the kind of thing that Mora is perfectly OK with.
