USC Picture Of The Day

It’s another color photo from the 1973 USC-Georgia Tech, where the Trojans got to wear their cardinal jerseys on the road. That’s USC running back Manfred Moore gaining yards for the Trojans.

  1. You can’t make this stuff up…….

CODY BELLINGER HITS FOR THE CYCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Interesting time at USC. Who knew the current athletic director would be the leading scorer of that game? Or that his quarterback would precede him as athletic director?
Oh wait I’ll bet Scott knew.

    • Thanks for writing the Inside USC blog. I’ve always said I come here for the contributions of fellow Trojans. Good case in point.

  3. Blinded by the light
    Revved up like a deuce
    Another runner in the night

  4. Couple of interesting tidbits:
Phil Steele predicts Texas will win 8-10 games this year based on several criteria including new coach T Herman’s 6-0 vs ranked opponents last year.
Also, Oregon releases its top receiver.

  5. Manfred Moore played one year in the Australian Rugby League. He played in the Super Bowl for the Raiders and then went and played in Australia for the Newton Jets, then came back and played for the Vikings for a year and then retired.

    • Those were the days when San Fernando HS was pumping out players to USC like nobodies business, including Moore, Charles White and Anthony Davis.

  6. Much better than the pictures of the USC-Georgia Tech Sun Bowl with Kiffin’s Black Eye.
