USC tailback Ronald Jones made the watch list for the Doak Walker Award, which goes to the nation’s top running back. Who is the frontunner? How about Penn State’s Saquon Barkley? I can still see defenders flailing trying to tackle him in the Rose Bowl.

Scott,
OJ parole update, please.
I’m stuck on a conference call with Putin and can’t watch right now.
more like the joke walker awared cuz every one wins it, like i say before i guess its the time we live in every one gets a precipitation trophy, gee thanks a lot trump! smdh
Ummmm, there have been 25 winners in the 27 year history of the award, so you have a curious take on “everyone”. I think you might want to look into the difference between a watch list and the eventual winner of an award.
ur only just proving my point! theyre was like 1 winner a year until know, and know every one wins the joke walker awared cuz trump is know presdent when this happens, smdh!
and theyre is no ucla players on this list, racist much joke walker? smdh!
Wait!
I never got a precipitation trophy!
Is that like when it rains touchdowns?
I can still see Barkley getting stuffed on 3rd down with less than 2 minutes to go that gave the ball back to Darnold……….
Ruin Terry Donahue loved that call.
…and that reminds me of Little Matty Barkley getting stuffed, sealed and delivered to the turf by Anthony Barr. (Although everything reminds me of that sack)
Ahh yes, the Golden Age of Bruin Football… more commonly known as SC being under sanctions. As I recall, 2012 was the year the Bruins closed the season with a 3 game losing streak and finished the season unranked. Good times!
Worst thing about that play was it knocked him out of the Notre Dame game the next week. Luck of the Irish….get a 9 point win against Max Wittek and a trip to the BCS Title Game.
Hutchings went all out on that. Signature play of his career for the small amount of time he was in the field.
How can you truly grade running backs when you play on a team like Washington where their non-conference schedule is a joke and the rushing yards are gobbled up playing tomato can defenses? All conferences have a few teams that are less than imposing in stopping a rushing attack. But politics is always going to be involved as I remember in 1974, Anthony Davis had a phenom year in playing great teams. but you had Archie Griffin from Ohio State who was the Big Ten’s (mid west’s) darling. You stack up OSUs schedule vs USCs. OSU played Oregon St. ,Washington St. & SMU. Wow what an imposing burden they had. Politics, no doubt about it, gave Griffin a 2nd Heisman.
Didn’t they already vote before AD’s amazing game against ND?
Really, Flow? THAT’S what you see? Maybe don’t stand up for a while if the Penn St. running back gets you that excited. If you know what I mean…
