I read on another UCLA site some slug Bruin fans feel 6 FB victories are enough to save JimmyBall’s job. This is utter CS BS; as if, a 6 – 6 season is the hallmark of an elite University FB program.
Mora has 6 years as Bruin Head Coach and the loser state of Bruin Football in 2016 is Mora’s fault or more accurately, his failure to lead while employed as the Bruin HFBC.
The 2017 FB schedule is JimmyBall’s Waterloo. I think 8 or better yet, 9 wins are a minimum number of UCLA wins to support Mora continued employment as HC.
Should UCLA plans to inaugurate the new, state of the FB complex to be marred by a crummy, this is the best JimmyBall can do .500 season. I think not.
Owns, do you notice a pattern here? In the mid 1990s Toledo wins with Donahue’s recruits and then the program implodes. 20 years later Mora wins with Neuheisel’s recruits and then the program implodes. Looks like another 20 years in the Wilderness for ruin football.
UCLA is not an elite FB program. There are less than 10 elite programs. That being said, I think our Bruins will win 8 games with a very difficult road schedule. I’m an optimist in spite of all evidence to the contrary!

The Duke-ees feel like they got him locked in the pocket, but I think we’re in a good position to pull the upset and land MBIII.
