Here is a response from USC this afternoon after the Matt Boermeester story involving his girlfriend:

  1. The issue isn’t what multiple witnesses said or didn’t say.

    The issue is the investigation itself.

    • Hey Scott how about you re-enact ‘The Dreyfuss Affair” – you can be Emile Zola…..Boermeester can be Alfred Dreyfuss and USC can be the French high command – you can do it!

  2. So, if Matt gives the OK the university will release their information to the public, however torrid and steamy, even if said information is opinion based, unexamined and inaccurate. To the men of Troy: Keep your hands in your pockets and stay vertical.

  3. So a witness saw and thought she saw our boy messing with his girlfriend i.e. assaulting her

    And so girlfriend wants to save boyfriend’s possible pro career, and denies anything happened.

    • Espn is reporting it was the men’s tennis coach who reported what his son told him.

        • So the way it was reported to have happened was;

          The coaches son had a room mate who heard something and went to see,
          After observing the roommate went in and told the coaches son, who the next day reported to his father.
          Just wondering, why the police weren’t called if there was an assault?

  4. Why is student Armand Premjee still in school even though he was accused of raping a girl in the dorm? The DA filed charges but the university did nothing as far as I can tell. The case was thrown out today because they had evidence that the girl initiated it but it appears that Armand finished out the term last semester and is enrolled for the fall. Does USC have a different set of standards for athletes? Please Matt, besides the field goal the best thing you can do for the Trojan family is show what incompetent idiots the administration is. We have the fires burning from the Dr. Puliafito scandal, please add some fuel.

    • I think they call it “Lack of Institutional Control”
      If you bring enough $ to the Walls of Troy (ie football or med school donations) according to The LA Times, you can do what you want at South Central including heroin parties at the med center or fleecing scholarship money from charities.
      The Institution turns it’s head and covers it’s eyes.
