USA Today Gives USC One Loss

USA Today has USC going 11-1 in the regular season and winning the Pac-12. But who will beat the Trojans? They don’t identify the loss.

  1. Simply for reasons of pride —as long as it’s not UCLA or Stanford, all’s good.

  2. SW would never stick his neck out and predict a USC loss. He just acts like every game is a possible loss which should never occur. Too funny.

Poor little gutties. Gonna get drilled big-time again by USC and EVERYBODY knows it – even the little gutties, who don’t say diddly about the Nov game in the Coli. Nice to see ucla bent over so early.

  3. 11-1??? never happen.

9-3 is far more likely for this team. no receivers, no CB’s…..this is the pass-happy Pac 12. weakness in these areas will CRIPPLE a team.

Scotty won’t say it out loud, he’s too beat-up and trigger-shy to call it like he used to. The CADRE will take up the slack, Scotty..

    • Ok.
      Ok.
      Ok……
I just called the NCAA to find out if UCLA had resurfaced and they told me they’ve never heard of UCLA Football.

In other words tell Jim Mora……. please tell that SOB that he needs to reattach his balls and stop voting for his own football team in the polls.

      1 vote.
      1 f*cking vote.

Where can i buy my “Josh Rosen played 5 games last year” T-Shirt???

      Chuck, with all due respect.
You’re standing on the railroad tracks and…..well you know the rest.

      Fight On Cadre

      • Beefcake is not Bucket. Too vanilla

As far as predictions go, forgettaboutit. Let’s do the games and see how this all plays out. The regular season is only 12 weeks or so, which means we will soon know who walks the walk and who is just simply talk.

        • I haven’t seen eye to eye with Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (Great 80’s/90’s wrestling name btw) much, but if it’s Bucket he’s not all Cadre anymore. He’s 25%.
We’ll play. We won’t talk it. We’ve been here before and we know the good and bad. We’ll talk big to each other in celebration, but we win like a pitcher who just went all 9 and hit one out all for the first time. Act like you’ve been there before. John, I think we can run the table.

  4. It’s officially time for SW posts on USC fountains, statues and landmarks. Oh, and bring back the1962 numbers on the USC helmets, he says! And if we did, SW would say we are copying ALA.

  5. I predict there will be an earthquake somewhere in the inland empire within a month. And if I am right someone will feel it-Then I will claim I knew it all along.
This is how I feel about these pridictions

  6. I find it pretty funny that they have the Pac-12 going 33-3 in their collective out of conference schedule.

    • Glad you pointed that out. Nice to know in advance that all but the PAC 12 bottom feeders will uphold the PAC’s honor. Watch out A&M, Notre Dame, Texas, BYU, Nebraska!

  7. P12S doesn’t lose a single OOC game and P12 only 3, overall?
AZ and AZ St winning 10 games between them?
    Cal wins 2 P12 games? Maybe 1.
Flip Wazzu and Duckville. Taggert struggles in Year 1 and loses at least 1 OOC.
The treefolk lose at least 4.
Mora is toast (unfortunately, b/c he can only beat a sanctioned USC)
    Utah loses an OOC (BYU)
CO has a pathetic OOC, goes 7-5
WA does NOT lose 2 games. Maybe 1. WEAK OOC.
    Beavers go Bowling.

    • The Arizona Wildcat team has 52 newcomers somehow. That’s unbelievable.
USC has to avoid taking W. Michigan lightly, tailgate with Texas and send them home knowing they’re season won’t start with an upset at USC. Then……we don’t muck around and choke the life out of Stanford. They only have last year’s win because Sammy was introduced three games late. We win those and we’re rolling!

      • 52 newcomers?
        Total roster (inc. W/Os):

        22 FR
        31 FR RS
        5 transfers

Only 6 FRs played last season and couldn’t RS. RichRod obviously doesn’t play FR much; there are only 3 true JRs from the 2015 class. and 5 true SRs from 2014.

I just don’t see RichRod,or Graham winning this season or being employed at the end of the season.

It’s one thing to have our talent and be young, but AZ needs a lot of Scoobies to magically appear!

        • I could be misquoting Rich Rod or Yogi Roth. 52 who have seen the field? You are probably right. The inexperience is alarming if I’m an Arizona man.

  8. I’m not saying at all that USC is invisible. But I think it was Andre Ware who said last week that USC will be 9-3 and lose early.

Foghorn Leghorn says “I say, uh, I say what the **** is he talking about?”

We’re not the same sanction team that had Sark doing up downs. He loved the chance to question a move USC made.

    Really Andre?
    9-3?
    With the possibility of 9-4?

    BREAKING NEWS…..

    WE’RE USC AGAIN!!!!!!!!

    • The Bruin schedule isn’t a cake walk but it’s manageable. The A&M game should be a fight and the game on the road @Memphis could spell potential doom if the Bruins start slow or over look them.

      • Good observation Sas, they were very fortunate to have beaten Memphis last year.

        • I don’t remember that game. I might have been at the Coliseum. But Memphis is a team to always watch.

          • That’s because it was back in 2014. I don’t know why I thought it was last year.

  9. If I was water-boarded into making the 1-loss guess I would pick either Standard or Utah.

  10. A lot will depend upon how healthy Sam stays and where they are after the first 3 games. If Sam stays healthy and they are 3-0 after the first 3 games, I think they have a chance to run the table and be 12-0 going into the Pac-12 championship game. Can they go 3-0? I think that they can. Western Michigan will not be as good after losing the best coach, QB and receiver that they have ever had. They play WMU in the coliseum. Stanford has been bragging that they are 8-3 against SC in the last 11 games and how they own SC. They even made a short video about it and SC has that video. I think that the SC players will be shown that video a number of times in the week prior to the Stanford game. They play Stanford at SC. Prior to the Texas game the players will be hearing about how Texas costs us a national championship about 12 years ago and Texas has a new coach even if he is an outstanding coach, he is still new. The players have to learn his system. We play Texas at the Coliseum. With good coaching and a little bit of luck concerning injuries, I think we could run the table. We’ll find out more about how good a coach CH really is this year.

  11. Remember when Carroll would lose a game he never should have? I figure the “experts” think SC will lose to a Washington St in the cold and rain, or something like that.
