    • Homecoming material, them and WSU.

BTW, Mique’s a backup from what I’ve been told.

          • Heisman7 says charges are coming for a couple reasons, incl coaching misconduct and classroom violations.

          • Asst coach, and some students evidently were said to have gotten grades for classes they didn’t fully participate in.

          • ucla coach and students, incl perhaps a qb.. this is from someone other than I. Heisman7.

          • Whoa! Well so much for Mora going on and on how great academically bel-air tech is next to ‘the farm’ …. bet the Times sits on it a long time after all bel-air tech is progressive and ‘for the people’ (aka the mob).

          • Where is the leak coming from?
Yes you are absolutely 100% right – it is responsible by any press source to ‘vet’ any story prior to publishing which is what the Times did do re. the Pufiliato scandal they, in fairness, did just that and also made numerous contacts, all rebuffed, before the whole mess came out

          • Again, USCHeisman7, is the one who shared these nuggets, how he got it is a mystery. Would be paradoxical almost after rosen gave his last interview on the place schooling has in a football players life.

          • Notice how Rosen has been lauded for his comments re. the athletes struggling academically or not majoring in the program they really wanted to because of athletic commitments? Rosen went on of how he’s majoring in ‘economics’ as opposed to others in ‘business administration’. Stupid bel-air tech dumped an under grad degree in business administration over 50 years ago – which is why he purposefully pigeon holed those who are bus. adm. majors – funny thing is that Cal never did – they still have business admin as an undergrad major.

Suddenly no mention by Pat Forde or Wetzel of his mocking AL and its’ players.

          • Conference affiliation has always been based on educational equivalencies and so there has always been a disparity between the ole miss’ and the Ivy League schools.

          • Well that’s really the sole conference (Ivy) with that pedigree. The tip 5 tier conference for football have usually a top academic 25 program:

            SEC – Vanderbilt
            ACC – Duke
            Big 10 – Northwestern
            Big 12 – nada

Then there’s the Pac-12 – Cal, Stanford UCLA and USC

The point is, for football, academics have nothing to do with athletic. prowess/success – if they did than (yup you got it) all those other programs I listed, aside from USC, would be contenders every year – they’re not and never will be.

Great athletes go to schools that give them the best shot at the pros just as great aspiring scientists go to: MIT, Cal Tech, Chicago…

        • No, somebody on the ruin board d said he’s doing well. But a 5* backing up isn’t really doing that well. At least he’s facing whatever demons were bothering him.

          • Evidently, there was an article on their linebackers and it didn’t mention him, from what I saw. I didn’t read it just glanced at highlighted names. Shame. He looked like a can’t miss.

    • This just in 22, “Donnie Boy” has tweeter threatened to nuke Mitch McConnell, with more fury and fire than the world has ever known.”

        • If you were a f uuclan, would you want to talk about football or preach their nutty brand of leftist politics?

          • goop, how do you feel about casting your vote for an absolute loon. Just think because of horse’s rears like yourself, we have lunatic POTUS threatening to nuke a two bit dictator to negate a nasty Trump/Russki treason investigation at home.

I can only hope your male grandchildren are manning the front lines in N. Korea and will pay the price for your folly.

  1. Jolly John was sayin’ “yup I’m off to the NFL, how about you? Any high schools calling?”

  2. If you’re going to show a pic of an Oregon State HC, why not make it Craig Fertig?

A horrible OSU HC but a great, great Trojan.

    • Aside from the late great Dee Andros the only other one who was a great HC for poor OR St. was Tommy Prothro. Tough place to recruit, coach and win.

      • Mike Riley was their best head coach. Don’t know how he did it but he managed to field some very competitive teams up there. Imagine if the fuuclans had hired Riley instead of Dorrell?

        • Yeah Garrett thought the same but Riley was with the Chargers then and it was Mike that told PC about the USC job. Prothro was their best

        • I thought Riley was never going to leave Corvallis.

Riley could have done no better than 7 wins a year for a decade and OSU still would have kept him on.

No other HC just seemed to do Corvallis as well as Riley.
