The Not-So Special Teams

USC women’s soccer is ranked No. 3 nationally in the United Soccer Coaches’ Poll. So I will say it again: Is there a midfielder or striker willing to add place-kicking duties?

  1. Is there by any chance an unemployed writer out there who could cover USC sports for the DN? They can’t possibly be any worse than what we’ve got.

  2. writer seams confused that the europe people call our foot ball by the name socker i think,

  3. Scott I think you have watched the movie “Necessary Roughness” too many times. Lucy Draper, aka “Kathy Ireland” is not coming to the rescue. We will be fine. Baxter will whip those kickers in shape.

  4. Soccer is a game for kids who can’t catch. The idols of this sport are bigger floppers than basketball players when looking for a foul.

  5. You guys have it all wrong. Remember the movie “Gus” with Don Knotts? That’s the answer, Gus the Mule!
