Michael Pittman Update

Clay Helton described wide receiver Michael Pittman’s high-ankle sprain as “significant.” That means Pittman could miss a few games at the start of the season.

This sucks on any level of any sport to get dinged up and have to sit to start the season. These are important games and we could use MP, but as long as he comes back full strength soon is what matters. We have enough to get it done without him. Time for everyone to carry their weight.

  • LamontRaymond

“That means” – as if Scottie has an M.D. All Clay said was “weeks” – anything more is pure speculation. No definitive statements there, Scottie. Got to be careful.

grave, Shame on you for posting FAKE NEWS on SW”s Blog. President called them out by name Monday. Where the H+++ were you ?

    • grave soul

You obviously need help reading my post above. Your fuhrer called out “all sides” on Monday and he doubled down on it afterward. What kind of POS president doesn’t categorically condemn white supremacists without qualifying his statements (fine people on the white supremacists side, etc)?

Stop getting your #fakenews from Breitfart.

      • gotroy22

You shouldn’t rely on Po-LIB-ico for your fake news, ruin loser. You violent Democrats like Tim Kaine’s son are the real danger to America. Another Democrat just threatened to kill the president. You must be proud.

      • marvgoux1

What kind of POS president allows the North Koreans and Iranians to go nuclear? Your pals Bill Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

        • grave soul

Quiet, marvgoux, you silly Lib! I’m sure you voted for Obama both times.

          • marvgoux1

I’m sure you did vote for Obama twice you POS f uuclan. Why don’t you get a job instead of spending all your time stalking Trojan posters here? You must be such a loser even Soros won’t hire you to riot for him.

          • grave soul

Lol. Try again, kid. I don’t vote for neolibs or cons, like you do.

          • gotroy22

He didn’t, Gray Stool. You are getting bashed like a pinata by many posters as usual. You love the pain don’t you , you sick lib.

I have had a high ankle sprain. Spent a lot of money for chiropractors, orthopedists, massage therapists, acupuncture, trainers, etc. No help because they didn’t treat the sprain. A sprain is when one side of a muscle group is in spasm and muscles are locked tight and the converse side of that muscle group is weak and loose. Based on my experience, to alleviate the sprain faster one must do exercises to balance the muscle groups by simple foot exercises and using heat, not ice, Also the sprain could be worsened by a hammer toe condition. A cheap hammer toe gel cushion can be fastened to a toe to bring the tendons into balance. Exercises like standing on a stair with heels extending from the stair in the air and then raising the heel can speed recovery. The problem with putting the ankle in a boot I found is that it immobilizes the joint and doesn’t balance the muscle groups to allow the spasm to release. Also must control blood sugar level and stay away from sugar or anything that spikes glycemic level. That is my story and I’m sticking to it.

    • Alvarado

Man sounds like you truly know – I always assumed ice was the key as it make the blood move faster to raise the temp in the ice laden area.

      • Grammymb

        Glad you’re not my doctor.

        • Alvarado

Hmm yeah fool but you be on my leash….

          • Grammymb

            You prove my point.

          • Alvarado

Let’s see, is you the granma or grandpa from he))?- come on now….take them thar’ fake teetheskas out yer’ gob….and get that crik out yer’ back

      • Wayne Lusvardi

I may be wrong but in my experience heat and cold alternating are needed. I have experienced and seen other people get rid of a serious sprain by using light weights on the weak side of the muscle group to bring them into balance.

        • Alvarado

Yeah it also depends an awful lot on your age – when you’re young as Pittman is – there is a lot of ability to get back to near it not all full recovery. Also right about alternating heat and cold – those comfort patches and vaporub sold. A sprain was for me, worst than a break.

Sure hope he’s ready before 21st Oct. @ So. Bend

    • Golden Trojan

WL, if you really had a high ankle sprain you did waste a lot of money on chiropractors, massage therapists and acupuncture. They are not qualified to treat high ankle sprains. You didn’t mention seeing a physical therapist that is an orthopedic/sports medicine specialist, that would have been your best choice. A sprain is an injury to ligaments, which connect bone to bone. A strain is an injury to muscle/tendons. A high ankle sprain is an injury to the Interosseus Membrane that connects the tibia and fibula. A deep structure that is tough to treat and takes longer to recover. Any immobilization of the lower leg leads to weakness in the calf, Gastrocnemius/Soleus muscles, which are slow to strengthen.

Do you need safe place right now? I understand if free speech scares you, but all lives matters even trolls like you! MP wish you all the best! Even though my nephew plays for UCLA i will enjoy seeing ball for USC

  • gotroy22

Hey ruin Sore Losermen, your awesome violent Democrat mobs just attacked the Peace Monument in Atlanta.

Wait just a minute, 22 is now succ, succ, SUCC’ing up for Trump White Supremacy.

It’s just a matter of time before the traitor, “Donnie Piles” is chained up in a Gitmo cell.

      • gotroy22

Remember when your lib hero FDR dedicated a monument to Robert E. Lee, Owns? I love your lib hypocrisy!

        • gotroy22
      • Lunderful

        JustOwns……violence on HIS terms.

      • gotroy22

Hey Owns you looney libs now say even the eclipse is racist!

  • SCgrad12

Do you ever get tired of being shut down by common sense?

    • grave soul

You rely on #fakenews like the tabloid Breitfart, while I read tons of different sources, so it hasn’t happened yet! Admit it, you’ve been duped!

      #altrighter #fakenews

      • SCgrad12

Fake News? Like CNN, and your buddy Anderson Cooper, and the New York Times? How many more retractions are they going to issue before the year is out?

      • gotroy22

I loved your hero Wolf Bliter on CNN today making a fool of himself during coverage of the Muslim terrorist attack in Spain.

        • grave soul

Goo, I’m glad you were watching CNN, because I sure wasn’t.
So, seriously now, I’ve noticed that you post on here A LOT…like a lot, a lot and at all hours of the day (not to mention all your posts on nut jon right-wing sites. It’s become painfully obvious to me that you don’t have a job/career.
Let’s see here. You’re one of those angry, unemployed alt-righter, white supremacists that rails against poor people and people of color because you blame them for your inability to get ahead in life…or simply even to compete in the job market.
Does that sound about right? I bet it does because that’s you, you angry little man, you.

          #KleinerMannEntschuldigt

          • gotroy22

Sure you do, Gray Stool. Like all libs, you also project your own failed life on others.

        • marvgoux1

And the CNN “reporter” who insisted that Virginia is part of Europe was pure comedy. That f uuuclan stalker is about at that level of stupidity.

  • Cloud Shaman

    wasnt the starter anyways

  • David Keeling

High Ankle Springs are a bitch to get over. You have to let your body heal without aggravating it or it will lengthen the recovery. Anyone who has had a bad spring can tell you that.

    • Grammymb

Yes. Bad springs can lead to fall, but only after summer.
