Max Tuerk Suspended Four Games

Former USC and current Chargers lineman Max Tuerk has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2017 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Tuerk: “This offseason, I made the mistake of taking over-the-counter supplements. In doing so, I opened myself up to the possibility of consuming a tainted supplement – something that ultimately led to a positive test for a banned substance. I accept responsibility for my actions and understand the NFL’s policy is very clear on this matter. This is a very hard way to learn a lesson, and I will never make this mistake again.”

Wow, there’s a third way to spell his name [re: SW’s Hecuba post]. PTL for this website, it just keeps on providing education, enlightenment and needless to say, entertainment..

Has been a disappointment in the NFL though. Was beat out by an undrafted free agent. Not heavy enough. But pretty good at SC.

A strong ‘heads up’ for the rest.

  • WESTWOOD UNDEFEATED

I made the mistake of trying to buy weed from a guy out back of the Whole Foods. In doing so, I opened myself up to the possibility of smoking dried kale. This was a very hard way to learn a lesson, and I will never make this mistake again.

Trade him to Seattle, he won’t get suspended there.

BS Max, you knew exactly what you were taking. Trying to come back fast from injury.

  • Gee Max, how could you do this?
