USC asked the media not to mention its mock game this weekend. But its official website doesn’t mind talking about it.

  2. The last guy we need covering the mock game is SW. If Darnold threw a couple of picks, he’d immed conclude Darnold was in for a bad season. Leave it to the insightful football writers to cover USC.

    • Mock game is off campus this week, so by rule cannot be advertised nor attended by public or press. Stupid rule. ncaa is getting to be as bad as government.

      • I think the evil NCAA surpassed the gov long ago. Of course if the NCAA likes your school (OHIO ST, UNC, ORE), you’re all for them. But God forbid you’re on their bad side.

        Hope the McNair affair gets to trial and testimony, though I suspect he’ll cave when the settlement number gets high enough.

        • I’d love to see the trial. But money talks. Have they decided if this would be decided by a judge or jury yet? If it’s a jury trial, he just might decide to go all the way, especially after the Johnson&Johnson decision.

          • Pretty sure it’s jury. Why would USC want a judge to decide? This is all about a person get unfairly hammered by a corrupt institution. Perfect jury material. But that’s why I think the NCAA will offer enough to keep decision out of their hands.

          I just want to start out by saying I’m not going to make fun of you anymore, it’s really not fair and you are wound way too tight (or was that SAS?) That being said I do have to comment here because despite my help, you are still having problems with deflection and denial.
          You should understand by now that the NCAA sanctions would not have been necessary had SoCal merely co operated. The punishment was for arrogance, denial and lack of institutional control but mostly for arrogance.
          P.S. you got off cheap.

            It’s illegal to punish for arrogance and the NCAA is finding that out in the McNair case, but you’re too stupid to know that. Have you always been this dumb, or is it early onset dimentia?

          • What did you think of the f uucla quarterback recruit on Bishop Gorman last night?

          • He looked pretty good. Runs smooth and can hit receivers in stride, although a couple throws were lucky, as receivers were held.
            He looked solid for his size running, knocking a couple defenders back.

          • He should look pretty good shouldn’t he? Hasn’t Bishop Gorman won like 50 straight games? They’re a machine. Fortunately, they send many of their best players to USC.

          • I remember when they had high hopes for Rosen when he was at Bosco but you are right it won’t matter because fuucla won’t surround him with great players like he has in high school.

        Mora’s unstable. But I admit, I love to watch him get all worked up and I’m so glad the bruins are bootstrapped to his back.

          • Well, Pudly if you want real entertainment and soap opera drama, there’s no place like Old SC. Your entire organization from AD’s to football coaches, to Med School Dean’s are a perpetual dumpster fire of drama.
            You can’t make the stuff up that happens in on and around SoCal and all you have to talk about is Mora ending a practice early.
