The IOC officially awarded the 2028 Olympics to Los Angeles today. So that means 11 years before all the inconvenient changes.

They better not interrupt USC football. That is the only thing L.A. has in this town.

When I heard, I started thinking that a new running track would be installed in the Coliseum for Traveler to run around after TD’s.

Then I started worrying that USC might not even have a Traveler mascot by the time 2028 rolls around.

Please detail the inconvenient changes, Scott. Considering that the Olympics were in LA not that long ago (mid-80s), I’m guessing that a few modifications to existing facilities. Are larger changes in the wind?

The proposal included creating a false floor for the Coliseum to accommodate the track, and the swimming facility would be built where USC’s Dedeaux field currently is. Not sure how the Coliseum work will affect USC football.

Wow, that’s got to be worth some big money for St. Pat & his family.

I need a new laptop because mine is just not doing it. Does Reeves Nelson have anything for sale?
