Su’a Cravens Out For 2017

Washington placed former USC linebacker Su’a Cravens on the reserve/left squad list, which means he will not play in 2017. I spoke to Cravens after the Texas game and he was in good spirits. He said he lost weight and was down to 215 pounds since he stopped playing. He didn’t seem in any hurry to return to football.

  1. Wow he looks like a SC Engineering major instead of a NFL football player now. The bull neck and shoulders are gone. Glad he played his heart of for us. Fight on Su’a!

    • He’s a smart guy. Head injuries are no joke. He made some money, time to find another career. USC can help him with that.

  2. Interesting how the concussion he received is left out of the story. This all started then and then he had to start wearing glasses. I would think that getting hit and then not being able to see straight would change anyone’s mind about football.

  3. Per Wolf, this is also USC coach’s fault. Surprised he didn’t mention ’06 Rosebowl too….

  4. If you go to u tube and watch the immediate press conference Herman gives after his defeat by USC and the one he held today he never mentions USC in the game after interview says the three letters at about the 6 minute mark in today’s interview and for the 2nd time at the 23 minute mark and at the 25 i/2 mark but in both interviews never says Sam Darnold’s name. He also take a lot of little digs at Charlie Strong’s tenure talking about the past, complacency in the past, etc.. He keeps avoiding saying ‘USC’ by stating ‘…we played the # 4 ranked team in the country.” Not once or twice but repeatedly.

One sense he felt they should have won the game which any disinterested spectator would agree.

He’s a quick study yet he never ever mentions Darnold.

It almost seems the press understood Darnold’s name was not to be uttered

The game next year will be their ‘payback’ game 15th September 2018 @ TX (Austin)>

    • Pretty impressive to make it to the NFL and not compete. I’m pretty sure it was concussions that influenced his decision. Nice try though.
