USC Quick Thought

What are the odds USC allows a 3-yard TD pass to the corner of the end zone against Cal? Is that a hat trick?

Slip a note to Clancy, Flow. This is your school he’s trying to defend after all. And please, no phone numbers or invites on that note…

    • CORTEZ THE KILLER

He might slip something to Clancy, but it won’t be a note

I hope it is not one of his gerbals.

Wolf’s right. When the other team’s on our 3 we should drop back into coverage. If you give up a couple short runs it doesn’t hurt you.

Somehow this was discussed in Helton’s presser and conveyed to the reporters… Helton and Clancy know more about football schemes than Flow…Stack the box with your floaters in motion… Our defense will be fine…Flow needs to start writing for the DN food section.

Didn’t we lose to Utah in 2014 the same way?

        • USC Heisman 7

We lost because of bad coaching.. 2014 Kiffin!

    • USC jojo

They were in coverage. The problem was that the tight end slipped by the coverage. The one who read it was a blitzing linebacker. By that time, it was too late to cover him. The backs were watching the qb roll right and missed the tight end running by. sw is an idi@t. It’s not the first time that play has ever been run and it’s not the first time it has ever worked. USC used to use a play action pass and the tight end would slip past the defense and catch a touchdown pass. Hat trick? Come on sw, you know what a hat trick is. That would not be a hat trick. I know you’re trying to be funny.

Wolf, your thoughts are stupid! For once, could you post valid Insider news!

What are the odds the bruin little gutties don’t go down hard for the 10th time in a row against their owners, STAN?

Anyone who thinks ucla will end their fantastic (I mean that in a GOOD way) losing streak against the Cardinal, please speak up!

    • USC Heisman 7

      LMAO..

Bet the farm on the Indians, no pun intended.

When Cal loses this Saturday, this will be there 14th time in a row to USC.

I think we’re gonna hammer the Bears.

USC has been through some tough sledding, and we always take a lot of best shots, but that TEXAS team is far superior to what CAL will throw up against us.

Once USC’s WRs start catching and stop tipping balls to the defense, Darnold’s streak of unlucky picks is gonna end and I think CAL will bear the brunt of SC’s hard-fought games so far.

Wilcox will find himself catapulted back to reality this weekend. USC rolls behind improved WRs and another dazzling performance by Carr.

Just win and get ready for the short week up in Pullman

  • Pete Smith

If we are up by 5 touch downs i am fine with it.

  • Pasadena Trojan

Scooter, what are the odds that you truly report the game objectively while cover the game completely? That is what I thought, zero chance.
