I predict just a few more games before a bunch of fans are calling for Helton to be fired.
As I’ve been writing all along, usc is not as good as hyped up to be. Even WSU is not as good, but they are better than usc.
Way to undersell, and overqualify the pick SW. If they win you predicted it. If they lose you predicted it. What a good feel for this team and game.
SC is going to win by two TDs, possibly more if the D generates 3+ turnovers. This is the game Sam Darnold gets back into the Heisman consideration. With no rushing game to worry about CP actually dials up blitz packages in the 1st half..and they work. Vaughns catches at least one bomb. Carr crosses the 100 yard mark, and catches five passes. Still too many needless penalties. WSU surprises with a couple big runs/delay dumps. Biggie gets beat by Martin three times, one will be for a TD. Jack Jones continues to improve. Green and Rector will be huge in non-blitz situations. Whatever, the difficulties in the 1st half, and contrary to SW’s blowhard “coach more” narrative, SC will – again – make adjustments in the 2nd half to dominate. They are a powerful 4th quarter.
