  1. When 4 and 5 star athletes lose to mostly three stars then the only thing to point at is the coaching

    • Stick to your own team – the hapless, always underachieving, unranked little gutties. How do you manage to stink so frequently little gutty? Is it just in your blood, like a genetic thing, auto-transferred from each Bruin team to the next?

        • USC lost a close game to a good, very experienced team, idiot.

ucla hasn’t beat a decent team in over a season and a half.

Some of us, unlike you, have much better things to do than hang and post on sports message boards on a Friday night.

          • i wouldn’t expect you to understand, shut-in.

Do us all a favor and keep this Trojan board updated on your little gutty game vs CU. They’re an unranked team, like you, so you might have a shot at the Rose Bowl – USC’s home away from home.

Bye bye little gutty. Make sure and report back tonight, like a good little boy.

          • Guess what little gutty? Every team loses, usually more than once every year. Last year we lost 3 games and I was still very pleased with the season.

I wasn’t surprised we lost because SC lacks experienced talent in both the OL and DB areas in particular. Our WRs have been disappointing or hurt. Darnold never has any time to throw.

After winning 13 in a row and becoming Rose Bowl champs, we finally got beat by a highly-motivated, experienced, better coached-team in their tough-to-play-in crib on a short week. What’s to get all bent out of shape about? We’re not good enough, especially with our injuries, to overcome bad play-calling. This loss has been coming for weeks. Duh.

Ya, I’m okay with it. Better than being a crappy little gutty who follows the nation’s most underachieving FB team – ucla. Now that I would not be okay with.

          • Thought we were looking for the CFP . All our faults were exposed. Couldnt get in from the 2 yard line. Ridiculous!

      • Wow—I guess that’s the ticket–when your team stinks, just belittle the other school—what, no predictions about the future??

        • Ya, we’ll beat up pitiful, voteless ucla bad as usual in Nov. Rosen’s already felt what it’s like against USC when he spent most of his time in the dirt. Hah, hah, hah. What? You pushed that out of your feeble bruin mind already?

    • No. It is called experience and playing in a system. If talent only won out, UCLA would be a playoff contender.

      • No it’s called coaching. Watch Mora tonight with his 4 and 5 stars against Colorado’s 2 and 3 stars. Mora has had his system in place for 6 years now and Rosen is a 3 year starter. And the ruins lost to Memphis and their one stars.

  2. Scott’s doing Helton a big favor by using the Athlon rankings. Phil Steele has Washington State’s 5 year average recruiting at about 60th in the nation.
More to the point —Helton and company have done the impossible. With all their “watch out for this” and “watch out for that” —they have actually robbed Sam Darnold of his love of the game. I finally figured out what everybody’s noticing in his eyes as he watches, frozen, on the sidelines —-he’s not loving it like he did last year. The job this staff has done trying to develop Max Browne and Max Wittick and Matt Fink is bad enough —-but, dampening Sam’s star —Wow! That’s a whole different thing.

      • Something is wrong with Sam’s approach to the game this year. “A blind man could see it,” as General Patton used to say. Sam’s no longer enjoying being “on the attack.” Why that is I can’t say for sure —-but, you tell me, Alv —-how can a player lose his edge without it having SOMETHING to do with the coaching? And, when you look at how little this coaching staff has been able to develop their other quarterbacks—-I think it’s a safe bet to say they’ve gotten inside an instinctual player’s head and f*cked him up with their two bit knowledge of the game.
I’m not saying that the mess at o-line hasn’t got something to do with this. Maybe even a lot to do with it (and that’s on the coaching staff, too). But, underneath it all, we’re seeing a different, lusterless version of Sam Darnold. Sorry, but that’s exactly the way I (and a bunch of other people) see it.

        • I don’t agree Mike – this loss was Sam Darnold’s. I totally believe he was out played and out manned by Falk and the WA St. Cougars. Save for that great run back by Jones what other offense was there last night? The defense did their job but the offense (Darnold) kept giving them the ball back.

The four downs in WA St.’s red zone, late in the 2nd qtr. after that incredible interception was pitiful. In particular the 2nd and goal pass to the corner of the end zone by Darnhold.

If we’re all going to say he’s a miracle worker well then he’s also the one to carry the blame for this loss.

Might be the making of him and the team as well i.e. if it hadn’t here to wake everyone up it sure would have three weeks from today!

      • Mike, what happened? I couldn’t watch the game since we had a fall ball league game pop up out of nowhere. I checked my phone and it said Chuma went down? I didn’t watch sports center after i seen them rush the field? We’re banged up though every where so it’s not as bad I hope.

        • We couldn’t stop them to save our lives and our OL is beyond repair. Poor coaching, play calling and a very uneven roster. Plus, Sam is in a slump. He seems indecisive and even rattled because he has no protection and is always on the run or dodging rushers.

          • Who knows? It’s not like he’s great or anything. If he comes back, it will make negligible difference. He doesn’t call the plays or play DB.

          • Come on, Jack. Edoga played well and is made for the PAC 12. Jack Jones and Marvell Tell played well. Biggie was a little inconsistent and Hawkins was decent. Langley might be better than Biggie while Ajene plays like the converted QB that he is.

          • Nobody ever said all of USC’s players played badly. That would be impossible.

But enough of our players underperformed significantly to drop this team to the real world of the non-elite, where we belong. I think to describe “Grabby” as “a little inconsistent” is very generous on your part. I would describe his as a below average coverage DB, who should be a safety, and who came in way over-hyped (not uncommon) and is a definite weak spot of our D.

The worst problem however, is our OL. With or without Edoga, it’s hurting Darnold badly IMO. I feel bad for him and would not come back for another year of this with Tee Martin calling laughable plays and USC’s OL being more like a sieve than a shield.

          • I agree with you about Biggie. You know that he won’t move though. The one series or so that Chuma played, the offense seemed to have it more together. Other than that, I think you are spot on about everything.

          • Did we watch the same game? DBs were in trouble all night, if they were not missing assignments they were getting beat and grabbing jerseys. A lot of that is attributable to Falk, an exceptionally good passer but he almost always threw to open receivers.

          • Most definitely, But we haven’t been able to run the ball or defend Darnold for three weeks now, long before all these injuries.

What I’m saying is it’s a combination of low talent, undeveloped youth, bad coaching, maybe blocking, conditioning, et al. Our OL has stunk for weeks and we’ve watched Darnold’s game deteriorate accordingly.

This team has gotten worse since the STAN game. I went to the first game and we looked horrible. But it was SO HOT, and we were playing a mysterious opponent, so we all the Trojans a pass. Turns out it was a sign of things to come.

I don’t see any big rebound for USC, and if it happens, what was the cause of this steady decline in the first place?

I love our new RB coach. I wonder what he thinks about the reasons behind USC’s no run game offense. RoJo breaks one long one and the rest of the game we’re stuffed against an undersized WSU D, missing their best LB.

Something’s wrong, even with Darnold. Bizarre. We give up 3rd down and long conversions like Christmas gifts from a rich parent.

I hope USC’s staff can get a handle on some of our problems soon or teams like ND will wipe the floor with USC and it won’t be close.

          • It’ll be like musical chairs filling in our O-line. Well like many said Chris Brown should had his chance at OT two years ago, but SC likes to make OT’s into OG’s and Guards into Tackles. Not saying he’s an answer but every other school that recruited him wanted him at IT, but SC has to do things differently. Jackson and Alijah Vera-Tucker could probably run block. No passing!!!!

          • Edoga played one series- the series that they gashed the Wazzu defense up. They couldn’t protect Darnold or open up holes. The D played well, but tired late in the fourth after staying on the field for so long.

          • Thought Jackson did fair, Vorhees needs work, they moved him from tackle to guard after Vianae got hurt, the last sack of the game came right thru his hole.

          • In their defense, it’s hard to play that young when everyone around you is almost as inexperienced as they were, Brown is a new starter and Fala was the only veteran on the line with Clayton Johnson playing RT. Not a great look. Never saw a team play with that many subs in at once in a competitive game.

          • Good point. Toa’s a risk at OT. VIane’s been dinged up since training camp and has taken a step back in my opinion. Brown is inconsistent. We need a spark.

          • Most of the team’s in the country have played 5 straight without a bye. It’s hard not to question our strength and conditioning coaches for our unmatched # of injuries every season.

        • Hi Sam! To answer your question, from what I remember, Chuma was trying to hold a block on a dumb flea flicker play when he went down in a heap. He had to be helped off the field by trainers. Let’s just say it didn’t look like a minor injury —he couldn’t walk.

          • Sorry to ask all this but I missed it all and didn’t want to look at my phone much when it was close

          • No problem, my bud. I’ve been looking for more information for you but I can’t find anything anywhere. Based on what I saw on Friday, though, it didn’t look good. Hopefully we get Toa back—he’s not playing that great but we need some junior leadership on the line.

        • I have to say that Leach’s comment was funny when asked about fans rushing the field: “It was like Woodstock but everyone had their clothes on.” The man is a great coach.

          • He’s playing off a famous John McKay line after the USC/Notre Dame game of 1974: “Gentleman, that’s the most fun I’ve ever had while my clothes were still on.”

          • Who was that tv announcer who was the qb for SMU when they got hit with the death penalty – Dickerson was on the squad – was it Craig James? It was his son and James’ moaning on ESPN that got Leach fired from TX Tech.

  3. There’s a little thing USC has been lacking over the last decade, and its called, coaching , and developing players.

    • saw a tweet today that said: “it all started when we screwed Chow over” ….no “champeenships” since Petey dumped him, despite the same talent level.

      #GloryHog

      • And Chow is now residing in southern Cali. From the article i read he is working at a local high school. He’s available!

          • I still believe to this day that the biggest single mistake of Carroll was letting go of Norm Chow. I’ve got no doubt we would’ve won another NC and more with him.

          • I know I need to move on, but that decision still bugs me to this day. That and Carroll’s decision to throw from the one yard line against the Patriots. Lol. Thanks for helping to cement the Pats and Belicheats legacy Coach.

    • Tell that to a few true boneheads in here that still hallucinate that it’s only talent and players’ execution that’s required for winning. They also hilariously believe Helton’s got more than enough coaching ability to guide the team to the top. So why in the H do those big name schools hire those Sabans, Meyers, and Harbaughs? Are they f’g stupid or something? No, it’s because they’re the ones who get it done, and they’re the necessary components to excel so many other teams with former high school stars on their roster and the same goal — winning. Does coaching matter? Need you ask?

  4. If this wakes him up great – this isn’t all on the coaching that loss was as much Sam Darnhold’s as it was anyone on the coaching staff

      • We lost two key players early on but the replacements played well.

Look the score was close enough for a victory but what i saw in that first half and in particular the last 4 minutes of the first half is where this game was lost. Coaching isn’t the reason we had to settle for a field goal after getting an inspiring interception on the WA St.’s 2 yard line –

        i.e. Darnold’s a demi-god well he wasn’t on that four down set.

          • Other than a beautiful 70+ yard run, he was dodging defenders just to get out of the backfield. Stephen Carr too. Rojo is a Tesla (they’re faster than Ferraris from 0 to 60 and don’t pollute the environment as much.)

          • No kind of breathing room….
Our line is blocking like they were in the Alabama game. 1st string or backups, it’s disappointing.

      • Their D had penetration from their Dline all day. Their O line has this massive All American Guard who they ran behind time and again. Rasheem played well and so did Nwosu. Rector was solid and Dorton played ok. 5 sacks for the D against Falk. They just tired late. Their defensive backs only had to cover for short stretches as Sam was running for his life all night. One huge positive, Sas, Vaughns BALLED. He showed why he is a 5 star recruit. When given time and when he was thrown to, Vaughns toyed with their DBs. Total mismatch.

        • Falk got leveled (what?) 5 times and just like the ‘energizer bunny’ he kept popping up over and over – I didn’t see that same determination in Sam last night

        • Vaughns is a great player and made some awesome grabs, but he dropped a TD pass that reminded me of Theo Brown dropping a Rosen TD pass against Stanford. They double-teamed Burnett and dared SD to throw to other targets. The WR’s are young

      • They dared Sam to throw deep, that was why they were effective against the run. Sam showed again his deep passing game is not what it should be.

      • If he gets the glory for the miraculous comebacks then he gets the blame for this loss. That 4 downs in WA St.’s. red zone late in the 2nd quarter was awful – esp. the 2nd and goal pass to the end zone.

The sole great play we had was the break out run by Jones – Darnold was the reason we tanked – it wasn’t the defense it was him.

        • That’s interesting, we watched the same game. The first drive was all Sam and correct play calling. What happened after that is not Sam’s fault. If you noticed, you could see his frustration with the play calling. If Sam was allowed to make an audible he would have destroyed WSU. But he doesn’t call the plays, he has to run the stupid play Tee calls. All BLAME is on Tee and Clay, both who can’t read defenses. They never made adjustments to attack a teams weakness.

          • Helton gave him free rein after that incredible TX TD on that tipped pass at the end of the 1st half and Darnold produced a TD. I saw nothing at the end of the first half resembling that effort even allowing for 12 seconds – nothing.

I think the wind was sucked out of him on that four down set after the interception – that’s when Darnold seemed to be in his own fog.

          • And yet with a minute and a half left in the game with no timeouts, everyone including Coach Helton expected Sam to BAIL this horrible Offensive Coordinator out yet again. Blame Sam, the player.

          • Suit yourself – the kid’s incredibly talented but no one bats 1.000 and for so many here to not assign any of this loss to the players, and Darnold in particular, is plain nuts.

        • Darnold had a couple of amazing throws on 4th and forever, if I remember correctly. And his fumble was entirely on SC’s inexperienced freshman guard who blew his assignment on that blitzing LB.

          • I made no mention of a fumble. My point was a sharp contrast to what all here have seen and come to expect – the kid is human i.e. that was a pedestrian effort at best by him and it trickled down to all the other players on offense.

          • In other words, anything less than superhuman performances from Darnold makes Helton’s team look quite miserable. I don’t think we would be even 4-1 right now without Darnold’s heroics, to be prefectly honest.

          • All the fans here are convinced that Sam Darnold had no part of this defeat last night but they also state he is the sole reason we were 4 – 0 and 10-1 last year.

Swann did not hire Helton genius boy Haden did – Helton has a hard 3 year contract (we’re in year 2) with an option for 2 more. I doubt he last’s beyond January 2019.

Having said that again Darnold has blame in this loss – if all of you claim he has all the glory ion the victories.

          • No, I did not say he wasn’t partly responsible for the loss. In fact, I said he made some pathetic plays last night. However, what’s really pathetic is the whole state of the team that can’t read the opposing defenses, call ridiculously improper offensive plays and the inability to develop second and third stringers who all once were blue chip recruits. While I recognize the problems in many different areas on the team, the ultimate responsibility falls squarely on Helton’s shoulders since he’s the top guy who has assembled the staff.

          • It was a side comment. I think the Heisman hype was not helpful. The only game where he’s played four great quarters was against Stanford. It’s bizarre to see him with just a 9-7 TD/Int ratio. However, the WR drop off this year is precipitous–that does factor in. But yeah, his head is not quite right this season.

  5. I just got back from watching 3 pop warner games and I’m remembering what this stuff is all about. I look forward to seeing the team take the field again and I’m done worrying about last night’s loss. Fight On!

    • Healthy, sane attitude. I hope USC (and Sam) go out next Saturday and have fun playing football again. Everything else will take care of itself.

    • Watching 12-year-olds ecstatically play the game has a way of putting things into perspective.

        • A recent study linked players who played Pop Warner football before the age of 12 with disruptive behavior. I played starting at 12. I’m gonna go rob a liquor store.

          • They are actually looking out for targeting and helmet-to-helmet contact. The youngest group seemed too young and I think they should be playing flag football.

Try to avoid the Korean stores…

    • It’s because we haven’t found the right HC yet since the departure of Carroll. It’s as simple as that!

      • Yes it is really simple as that, but it is still Wolf’s rabbit hole he loves to bring up and we get sucked down it.

          • If anyone on staff is reading any of this (which I doubt), I can guarantee they are, in Ed Garrett’s words, shaking their damn head, saying, “Boy —these guys don’t know anything! We’ve got Sam and the o-line playing better than ever!”

          • I remember you were one of those “Helton defenders” in the past and we didn’t exactly see eye-to-eye. Glad that you’ve opened your eyes to the coaching incompetence of Helton and his staff now. In fact, one has to be a real bonehead or a headcase not to see it.

          • I was a Helton defender, too. But it’s hard not to see that the 2’s and 3’s aren’t ready to play.
The schedule has been out forever, we knew there were NO byes —and the coaches are actually complaining that the subs aren’t ready to play at this point in the season?

          • Thank you, MG, for your candid confession! LOL! No, there are no excuses for this staff’s coaching and player developing incompetence. Yeah, I’ve seen enough to draw the conclusions already. It’s looking like Helton might be barely enough to guide the team to win Pac-12 South, but never beyond it. Can we beat the best teams of North right now? No way! And next year without Darnold? Oh yeah! LMAO!!!

          • With this group’s history of readying quarterbacks for big games, can you imagine what Jack Sears is gonna look like against Texas next year?
            #DoYouEvenWantToImagine?

          • ….except no one will be memorizing Helton’s half time interview and reciting it at midnight….

          • Is this breaking news Michael? You think Sam is definitely heading to the Jets after this season? Lol. He probably could use another season, but who knows if he’ll get better under this staff.

          • If they still want him by that time, yes. But, let’s be honest, every game he has that resembles the Cal or Washington State game brings his stock down big time. Ask Barkley.

          • Do you think he will want to risk major injury from a leaky OL without getting paid next year?

          • I wouldn’t blame him for leaving. If he continues to struggle behind that leaky OL and his stock does drop, that may not be a bad thing. That way he can get drafted by a decent team with good management unlike the Jets or Browns or a pathetic team like that.

          • MG, I took a quick look at the 2015 roster and depth chart. Su’a Cravens never came off the field, but the interesting part is that Uchenna Nwosu was his backup. Uchenna never played back then and now never comes off the field. It is just interesting to me.

          • Regal Trojan, Coach Helton and his staff are TOP DRAWER, winning their last 13 games including dynamic wins over the Huskies in Seattle, and an outstanding Penn State team in the JAN 1, ROSE BOWL GAME. The Trojans simply did not have the talent at the end of the Wash St game to compete because of the massive numbers of injuries, The massive number of injuries resulted in a COMPLETE BREAKDOWN of the USC Offensive Line and resulted in a poorly trained clueless, INCOMPETENT Corps of Receivers. Tyler Vaughn being the only exception. At games end, USC went from a deserved # 5 Ranking to a team. IMO, out of the top 25. As I see it, healing takes time, but removing Tee Martin from Coordinating the Offense can be done with a phone call. Steveg informed me that the Helton Brothers were the OC’s last year. BRING THEM BACK IMMEDIATELY.

          • Top drawer??? No, I strongly disagree! I’ve never seen other “top drawer” coaching staff that couldn’t recognize the opposing defense and call those pathetic offensive plays! I’d say they’re BOTTOM DRAWER at the moment. And talent? Yeah, we’ve still got enough to win our conference IF coached right.

          • I think Helton is a decent coach but that’s it. The extraordinary results are mostly due to Darnold’s emergence as the starting qb. I hope Helton can become an all time great SC coach. That would be awesome, but that coaching staff is still trying to figure it out at this point in Helton’s tenure.

          • Totally true —I mean what was Helton’s record under Cody Kessler?
            #WhateverItWasIsOurFuture

          • Oh geez! I don’t know if I can handle another rough patch like that. Believe Helton was 5-4 that season after taking over for Sark, which wasn’t that bad considering all of the circumstances.

  6. Why 2 days off after this loss? The team needs more practice time, particularly the underclassmen.

Whether the starters are ready or not, I would play as many 2nd/3rd stringers as possible against OSU. They need game experience so that we aren’t left with totally green subs.

        • Huge # of injuries —everywhere on team. Because lots of teams have not had their bye yet, there are two ways of looking at this —(1) we’re snake bit, or (2) we need to take a serious look at our strength and conditioning program.

        • More injuries are bound to occur if a team is involved in the type of games SC has played most of this season so far. And like MG said below, they happen for other reasons as well. However, injuries are an unavoidable factor in football, so they can’t be an excuse for our loss last night. Besides, even our second and third stringers are arguably more talented Wazzu’s starters.

          • Yes! What is this crap about how 4 and 5 star subs can’t be expected to play at a high level? Subs come in and play well on teams all over the country every Saturday for crying out loud. Washington State was down to their last 2 star middle linebacker and he helped stop our running attack!

          • Sorry, that wasn’t a dig. We’re all frustrated with different aspects of the team. Didn’t mean any disrespect.

          • i hope that was just a perfect storm situation- although I’m inclined to think that it wasnt. Still think this could be a banner year. Notre Dame will be a tough test.

          • Yes, for sure. But we’re in no situation to take any opponent lightly now. Despite the 4-1 record, the reality has caught up with us that we’re not that good right now. Anyhow, let’s hope for the best, partner.

          • I think Tyler Vaughns could be a microcosm of the team. He played but really stunk it up against Western Michigan. The team could afford to not have to rely on him, however. A receiver is easier to hide. Not so much an O-linemen,

      • Solid point, Arturo. Would you say we’re in a little bit of a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation?
        #IThinkIWould

        • Probably darned if you d or not, but I will say that they have been in some pretty physical battles. Texas and Stanford present some formidable linemen. I think Western Michigan, with their Veteran O-line and returning running backs, was not a slouch either. I would say heal up the starters and prepare the backups for some more PT. What do I know.

          • None of the WA St. Cougar defensive linemen, save one, was >300 lbs. They were more nimble and had been coached to play hard against USC just as TX and Cal had except USC offensive line coach did nothing to plug the holes that opponents were steadily exploiting.

  7. I say giive Helton a chance to put his stamp on this team. Last year was the first year that the sanctions were not handcuffing recruiting. He began addressing the team’s most glaring needs along the trenches. Helton’s first class has already seen plenty of action on the field when it comes to the D and O lines. Off the top of my head, Jackson, Voorhees, and Marlon have played a lot. Pili and Tufele will surely soon follow. Play and develop there and the wins will be much easier.

    • It takes a few years to recover from sanctions like that. While SC has been able to reload and land some killer classes recently, when you are injury-riddled and have to use true freshmen on your OL and at the receiver position, it’s going to hurt you–no matter how talented those kids are. Darnold’ critical fumble was due entirely to inexperienced guards not picking up a LB blitz. Having no bye week is a killer also.

      • History tells us that you are so right: Schools like Alabama and Miami took longer to recover from lesser sanctions. It is what it is.
On another note, what will it take for UCLA to be at like a Bob Toledo era like team?

      • Got to hand it to Mike Leach. He didn’t go into the prevent and let Sam pick his defense apart. He blitzed and it paid off big.

    • I have no problem with SC giving Helton at least another season, but then I look at what Kirby Smart is already doing at Georgia and I get a little envious. It looks like he has already firmly put his stamp on that program. Of course the season still needs to play out and we’ll see where they end up, but they are physical on the offensive and defensive side of the ball and they have a definite team identity. I know Smart was a Georgia alum and there probably wasn’t a chance in hell he’d come to SC, but I still wish they would have tried to see if he would interview after they fired Kiffin and then Sark. Maybe they reached out to his reps and they said no, but I never heard his name come up.

      • Hard for any SEC coach to come to LA, either with us or the ruins. Could you see any of those coaches putting up with the likes of Scott?

      • Not a snowball’s chance in hell Kirby Smart would ever consider coming to California. As a Georgia Alumnus, the UGA job would be by definition his dream job–including taking over from Saban at Alabama.
By the way, having lived out East now for 26 years, there are an awful lot of people here that believe that despite the great weather California is filled with nut-jobs and an unreal cost of living…. It just isn’t worth the aggravation anymore to move to the Sunshine State. Just repeating what i have heard from many a Georgian over the years–sorry guys!

        • I’m sick of people from back East moving out here and complaining about everything. California is crowded enough.

          • I have discovered that the USA has many good places to call home, based on conversations i have had with people over the years. I realize that southern California, while a beautiful place, is not the center of the universe, that’s all….

    • And Helton has gotten decent results, so I am glad about that, but I don’t see that team identity. It’s like they’re still trying to figure out what kind of program they are.

      • so cal, Coach Helton and his Staff have gotten extraordinary results. His teams identity, “WE ARE SC. WE’RE NUMBER ONE.”

        • I love the enthusiasm, but they aren’t there yet on the number one part. They are definitely SC though, I’ll agree with you there.

        • Swann didn’t hire him – he’s here through 2018. I still think Helton is a good fit – Darnold would not be smart to leave before December 2018.

    • The university has to give him at least 3 years. We can’t just fire him after winning 13 in a row even if the last few were not pretty. Its going to make a difference when USC looks for a new HC. No HC would want to go a program like that.

  8. Quite ironic that the biggest concern Wolf had going into the season (place kicker) is the most reliable one we have now.

  9. According to the list, LSU and Florida State were ranked 3rd and 4th. How are they doing this year?

    • Makes me feel a little better. Thrown in the fact that those two teams weren’t crippled by sanctions and I feel even better.
