Feel bad for Max Browne. He has to know that he probably wasn’t going to make it in the pros and was smart enough to get a degree before leaving SC.

Don’t feel bad. He got a free ride to a great university.

      • Pudly76

He should’ve stayed and finished his masters

        • marvgoux1

He needed to get a second opinion to find out for sure if he wasn’t NFL material.

          • Pudly76

Yeah I get it, hard to give up a dream, but nonetheless.

He will be a success in his life. Exceptional young man.

Good interview by Roggin and Rodney – Helton now has to deal with national attention of his qb questioning his skill and that of his (Helton’s) offensive coordinators. This puts Helton under the lamp as to just what he is doing and what skills those he hired have at a top tier program.

The only way Helton avoids serious blowback is if he does not lose another game but a loss for the Pac-12 CCG would not be a career ender for his at USC – any loss prior to that game, I think, would.

i do not believe there is tension between the USC coaches and the players. This is pure and sample, FAKE NEWS, There is no room for bitching about the Trojan coaching staff or the players. Even though we are 1/2 the team we were last year, THE 2017 TROJANS ARE 5-1 and FIXIN to beat the H@ll out of the Utes. rusoviet, your judgement of Coach Helton, our Dominant NCAA Championship Caliber Coach (13-1), is way over the top. but follows along nicely with the same “Crybaby-Tear Jerking” cr@p so popular with SW’s Trojan Bloggers.

That’s the value of ‘opinions’. Tell you what shammer47 name me another QB this year that was quoted as Darnold was – the reality is if that had been uttered anywhere by a top tier program’s QB we’d all have heard it.

Fact – Sam Darnold cares deeply for the program and the coaching staff but he is troubled, as many have been, on the way the games have been approached and a lack of a change made at half-time. That was the one thing Carroll always had in his hip pocket – a shrewd ‘new look’.

I like Helton and I have never mocked him in terms of his own personality. He has had a gem at QB throughout his stint as head coach at USC. We’ll know once Sam Darnold moves on.

I don’t know what you have been looking at during these past 6 games unless you are wearing blinders, but there is no measurable team improvement in execution especially the O-line since the season started and the penalties are not going away. You look at the first game against W. Michigan, Texas, CAL, WSU not to mention a very poor OSU team that if is wasn’t for a few errors in the USC red zone against our defense, it would have been a very close game and you will see basically the same level of execution. Sam Darnold is literally out there running around trying to execute with little help. I blame the coaching staff and you should too.

Let’s see what his reaction is to another observer of ‘hope’ mixed with ‘mirrors’.

No one stresses more tham Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh.

    • rusoviet

A lot of pressure growing in Ann Arbor-MI over Harbaugh’s increasing inability to be a real factor in the Big 10 East.

Money Quote: “this is like trying t figure out Watergate” wolf describing the stress and miss-information coming from Hell-Ton and staff.

5am to 11pm. What drives you to dedicate so much time on this web site?

Is your life really that pathetic

    • Yep, this is the Ugly Bucket at work again. The only one on this blog who is an unashamedly Wolf shill.

      This is pathetic, Bucket.
