  1. Makes sense he plays to win every down and when he’s not in a game the defense looks sluggish. I hope they are training a replacement.

  2. Cam has won Lott player of week twice this year.No other has.
Yesterday’s practice was one of if not the best for Sam darnold.
One veteran observe, Dan Weber said Sam looked 100% at his best.happy.Carried the 2nd half of Utah game into practice .Also team practiced 11 on 11 longest period of year.Thought is to hit the 1st half ready to play. Not just first drive

    • Playing the way he did in the second half against Utah may have just cured whatever was dogging Sam. I think he proved something to HIMSELF.

      • Siting Weber again. Dan has said every week something isn’t 100% right. Reference to a nagging injury or such that wasn’t public. He could read it on Sam’s face in practice. He said yesterday was first practice where he practiced happy, looking relaxed.

        • That is a REAL good sign. Weber is not a bull tosser —and he’s been around USC long enough to be able to “read” what’s happening at practice. I might add that he felt good about the team’s practices for Stanford, too!
