Notre Dame Has Injuries Too

Notre Dame senior linebacker Greer Martini, a co-captain who started the first six games, will not play against USC after having knee surgery.

  1. I normally don’t like anyone or anything related to Notre Dame but I have to admit Greer Martini is a pretty cool name.

      • Who let this clown in? Flow, time to clean house! Hey, double-pump-chump: Hopefully “fast” in your name doesn’t refer to your performance with the ladies. Assuming you’re into ladies, Frederick.

      • Don’t be bitter Fast Freddie. Just because USC can beat baby ucla regardless of our injuries is no reason to get all bent because our main rival, Notre Dame, poses a much greater challenge and is a team to actually worry about.

Playing you little gutties is like getting a real break. It’s a gimme game for USC now and everyone seems to be busting up the bruins for huge yardage and points.

Why don’t you bruins try actually showing up on Nov. 18 at the Coliseum? It would be nice if The Chimp could at least make a game of it. Maybe it would help your cause when you have to special petition for a bowl game? You think?

      • Is tomorrow the day that Rosen becomes “Injured”, so that he does not have to play anymore and won’t ruin his draft pick?

  2. Just so one gets too excited about this news —Greer Martini is only a co-starter. The other starter is Te’von Coney —who was a much higher rated player coming out of high school than Greer. We’re not catching a huge break here.

  3. Scooter, you mentioned only one injury for nd. Should your caption read, “Notre Dame Has an Injury Too”. Reminder, you made the sentence plural while descrbing in your sentence, you only mentioned one making it singular. Simple English my friend. Name more then you can use the plural.

    • Nothing simple about English for Scott. If you wound Scott too many times then he can say he wound up being wounded, and never really understand what he said.
