  1. Nice to have his dream come true…hope it included winning the game against some pretty bad odds….fight on

  2. I bet he never dreamed of playing in South Bend on fake grass. Fake grass in South Bend is an affront to the Football Gods

  3. And it doesn’t appear next weeks game against Arizona State is going to be an automatic win, either, because they may be up and down, this season, but they’ve show they can play some ball when they want to.

    • If USC can handle a much more physical Notre Dame team, then I like their chances against ASU.

Todd Graham’s ASU teams have always been a little soft. Playing physical football is not their style.

      • I think Utah was the perfect tuneup game for notre Dame, both offensively and defensively speaking.we ran the ball well enough against the utes and their run defense is higher rated than the irish, and deeper too. My worry isn’t so much a let down as it is just being a little beat up and worn out after two very physical games. F’ da leprechaun.

        Beat the irish!

  4. The winner moves on toward the goal of being in that final four in January. The loser drifts down to a bowl they neither wanted to be in nor go to. Point spread has shrunk from 4.5 to 3.5. USC has the better qb – Darnold loves to pass the Irish don’t. Control the line and we are victorious!

    • The one thing about USC though is, if they lose, they still have a chance to go to the Rose Bowl. When notre dame loses, they go to the chicken and taco salad bowl.

      • No you know what is the worst con? ‘the princess’ doesn’t have to play in a CCG like all the other Top 5 conference champions do.

  5. I’ve met classy fans at every stadium I’ve been to with exception of Palo Alto. However classy fans don’t play football, they pass the soda you bought to you.
If there is a cheap shot to be had, it will be taken. Neither team is above taking one. If USC even appears to do so, the honks on NBC will be sure to immortalize it and replay it from every angle.
    Fight on !!!
