OK, I made my game prediction. Now it’s your turn. This is big game. It could go either way. And both teams have a shot at the College Football Playoff.

SC 47, nd 23
Yes, I believe that Darnold and the receivers will come out and win the game. I believe the Jones will run for 150 yards and three tds. Fight On
Ya but what about the Notre Dame (“4” Healthy Senior Offensive Lineman) Running game = #5 in the Country ???
RealityOn
I think sc is quicker than the 4 linemen. But if nd just starts to run and sc is being pushed back, then Pendergast will have to commit more to the box
Yikes! Okay. Here’s to hoping they do just that.
The most difficult score prediction in my life…
Well let’s see, Offensive Line decimated, ditto Defensive Line (Including Predator Linebacker/Defensive End), 1 reliable Running Back, Sam Darnold ???
Wing and a Prayer !
Before a score, let’s move this current State-of-Team to Notre Dame, Alabama, Ohio State, etc… and watch them get [ CRUSHED ] against their Rival, home or on the road !!!!!!!
Georgia their Running game, USC 31 – Notre Dame 23 !
No Georgia their Running game, with injury riddled team, which = Not-a-fair-Game, Notre Dame 41, USC 24 !!
PrayOn
Being “not fair”–should everybody get a participation trophy??
USC 35 ND 28
USC 31-20, but an unexpected TD (Defense, Special Teams, etc.) at end for us.
Our scoring D surprises (we give up yards but not too many points) and the O continues to flounder (Yes, 24 points for us is floundering — just like us scoring only 38 against the Beavers is pathetic!)
If Notre Dame doesn’t “Stanford” us and hold the ball for 40+ minutes, we’ll be fine. I think the injuries in the Defensive Front 7 will be a problem. ND 24 USC 13 🙁
38-16? I don’t think so. SC has a lot of injuries but they will play better than that. Wolfie might be right about who wins but not the score. I don’t know who is going to win this game because I’m not sure which SC team will show up. Is it going to be the chumps who played in the 1st half of the Utah game or the champs who played in the 2nd half? If SC plays the way they played against Stanford, SC will win, even in South Bend. If they have no rhythm on offense like most of the rest of the games, they’ll get beat. But not 38-16!
31 24. Sc defense plays big. Sam has a great game. (i hope)
USC 38 ND 21 Seems like it will be a slugfest but USC scores early and ND has to come out of their game plan. Kelly gets outraged and it ruins his day as USC defense has two picks to ice the game. Sam throws 325 yards, Rojo gains 124 and scores two.
I like it. F’ yes.
Hoping for a win, really fearing a very bad beating
38-31 USC…..Nobody in press giving Trojans love. Sea of Green ,no respect…Trojans will motivate, play their best game. Late ND touchdown (bad ref call)will make it closer than score. SW will still say Helton job on line for burning a receivers red shirt.
I like your score and outcome. Bad calls for sure. There will be at least 2 turnovers per team. The team that takes it for a score wins this. Could very well be the game of the regular season in all of college football. You can always count on Wolf finding the negative.
Have this feeling that Sam and receivers will have big game. First half will be similar to Stanford game. Second half will come with big surprises that favor USC.Believe you are right about turnovers. Think biggest factor for us will be underdog, play loose ,prove the doubters wrong.
Bad call by the pac 12 refs?
Fred give it a rest. No one’s biting. Everyone knows the league refs suck and they have screwed USC over several times this season and the past is littered with bogus calls. Just last week the refs penalized the Utes along for an easy score.
But no matter what our league refs do, it is nothing compared to the way things are handled by the “independent” refs in South Bend.
I like it. F’ yeah.
i gotta go with you on this one, wolfman. the Rudy’s are looking to make a statement.
the one-man-band that is trOXan football is due for some exposure.
#TenFumblesReally???
What about the blue babies? With a week off and feeling fresh and renew from mora’s new meditative coaching methods, they’ve got to be chomping at the bit to get at the duck running attack…
Chosen Rosen never has TWO bad games in a row….our fast LB’s should neutralize the quacks enough for us to pull it out at home.
Not likely.
Go Ducks
Yeah go ducks and don’t forget to ‘keep Mora’!
passive aggressive.
Malignant Narcissist.
ouch.
“i gotta go with you on this one wolfman….” You sound like Cool Hand Luke talking to the Boss Man after they broke him.
#You’reBetterThanThisBB
#”igottagowithyouonthisone,wolfman”…..
shakin’ it here, Boss!!
The fumes from the cleaning supplies are killing your brain cells….perfect!
Flow: Riddle me this…How can a game that you predicted would heavily favor notre dame 38-17 be a game that “could go either way?”
Stay out of it, Chaz Beefcake…
….Because Scott got all the hits he needed offa his “my Prediction” post —-and he’s cleverly walking that prediction back now. There’s no way Scott wants to hear about that 38-17 prediction all night Saturday after the game.
#It’sCalled”JumpinTheShark”
Or getting Sunshine Pumpers to frequent his blog = $$$
Ha! [I feel so used]!!
Well I hope USC sticks it to Flow’s prediction with a solid W performance tomorrow night. Fight On. Like mentioned above…another Washington 2016 performance tomorrrow?
To win this, we need upperclassmen (which for us is sophomores and juniors) to lead on the field. I can’t tell you how happy I am that Daniel Imatorbhebhe, Cam Smith, Rojo, Chuma Edoga and Rasheem Green are all healthy (more or less) for this one. We need them to keep the freshman pumped up no matter what is happening on the field. If we stay poised, we do win! Same as Washington 2016!
Cam Smith = Key to W.
Yeah, ya gotta love Cam. He fights from the opening bell. Another 16 tackle game should take us a long way!
#FightOn,04Trojan!
Actually 04, Pili is the key. If he does his job right (taking a double team and holding a gap), it frees Cam up and allows him to scrape and fill. Pili has done extremely well last two weeks in relief, hopefully he brings it again and Cam make 16 tackles again.
USC 38 ‘the princess’ 10
Nice numbers my ruskie friend.
All power to the soviets!
We have the team and the QB to dominate this game – question – does Helton have the skill to unleash this team’s prowess?
I believe as you do, our skill and strength will win out. Helton so far has gotten the better of Petersen, Franklin, Herman, the furd coach, the chimp, Whittingham and Kelly once prior. Let’s hope the formula’s still intact.
I’m seeking the same for:
1. inner city denizens,
2nd ‘a vaccine’,
3rd Benjamin …, and
4th a ‘boomer sooner’ aka a ‘sod buster’ .
Understand sports fans – the rest of the USA loathes LA because they all wish they were LA. And the reason ‘naw yawk’ hates us is we didn’t ‘get in line’ the way Chicago, Philly Detroit. Baltimore, DC….did paying homage to that corrupt trash can – understand said trash can is where the vast majority of the ‘harp’ ‘alcoholics’ fan base hails from.
I loathed the dodgers but ‘fill in the blank’ ‘naw yawk’!
Much like the U-Dub game last year… USC 27 – DOME 17
FTFO! F’ da leprechaun!
Beat the irish!
I think that’s a good analogy (the thing that bothers me is that this time it’s a running quarterback instead of Jake Browning).
#But…ARunningQuarterbackWithLousy4.8FortySpeed
Truth. Running QB’s tend to be a handful for USC.
True—but we handled a pretty good one last week. I think we got what it takes —lots of speed to the outside.
And Cameron Smith.
And a very dangerous Khalil Tate coming in 2 weeks…
Yeah, it seems to never stop. At least we get him at home. [Whoever wins the Pac 12 South will really deserve it —- forget the rankings! it’s a dangerous bunch of teams].
Fight On, hoohoolianFUCLA!
Uchena Nwosu!!!
He’s our answer to Tate! Porter Gustin wouldn’t hurt either.
Browning was exposed by SC last year and ASU this year!
Don’t forget Alabama, gt!
I think you’re onto something…
ND 38 SC 24. It is what it is. Too many key injuries, bye week for them, and quite frankly, they are playing very well.
I predict, I predict, that no one has gotten it right as to what will happen tomorrow. Which is what makes sports viewing so much fun.
Still, I predict that SC’s passing attack is superior to ND’s running attack.
So there!
I like the implications, John!
The best of luck to our team on tomorrow’s game, MG! Fight On!!!
OUR team. Yeah!
Fight On, RT! This is it!!!
USC 31 ND 27
Defense, be great on first down and you’ll own third down. Own third down and you’ll own the Irish. Wimbush will look to run in passing situations and he’ll kill you with his legs if you let him. Make history tomorrow, Trojans.
Who’s supposed to be on Wimbush in those third and long situations?
That’s just going to depend on how CP defends them. I think we’ll have a lot of guys near the line of scrimmage and it’s a matter of playing disciplined defense, minding the gaps and being aware. Hopefully we can keep them in passing situations while containing him and forcing him to make mistakes. I want to see ND have to throw it to win, being aware that Wimbush’s rushing yards count too.
I really can’t wait to see how this plays out —if the defense can limit the number of long runs (to one or two), and Sam plays without nerves (he almost seems to need a counselor/mystic by his side the day of a game), our chances go through the roof.
I think we need to up the tempo on offense and have faith that we can sustain drives. You can give the defense a blow by converting first downs instead of slowing down the pace and letting their defense rest.
Well, in any event, Clay —it’s here! My bet is that we play well and do ourselves proud. I am very glad Daniel Imatorbhebhe is back —his presence seems to both calm and inspire Sam (players themselves have commented on that). I think Sam just feels a special bond with the equally strong willed
Imatorbhebhe —and admires his nerves of steel. Daniel somehow has made friends with fear —– fear is not his enemy. The whole team can feed off that attitude today.
Darnold won’t give in to those cheaten’ leprechauns and will perseveve, USC 31 ND 27
That leprechaun mascot, plus the memory of Lou Holtz, puts the Domers over the top as most disliked team
Lou Holtz = HUGE ahole Pres Dump supporter, like Dump supporter usc alums on this blog.
#YouGotItHanded2U
Hilarious!!! A Toejam calling ND cheaters. look in the mirror Bro. FBI-FBI-FBI among many others. OJ1, OJ2 to name a few
ND takes ‘home field advantage’ to the next level. You should probably just own the cheaten’, it’s out there. Ask Desmond Reed if ND takes advantage of playing at home. You mean OJ, the ‘Catholic Killer’, you never beat The Juice
70-0 USC. Sam throws for 5, Jones runs for 3, Ajene returns 2. I just it would balance out wolfies prediction. Fight on!!!!
USC 27 nd 21
well, with the injury list looking like the depth chart for SC and in particular Josh Fatu out, SC barely wins, like vs Penn st in last years Rose Bowl
Usc 42 ND 17 #FightOn
Oops. You almost got it right.
#whoops

Conquest!
Jack-Jack with a pick six
I like it like that!
During their streak against SC back in the 80s and 90s, I came to really dislike them. I used to say to myself, I don’t care if SC loses every game except two of them. Can’t wait, Pud, can’t wait.
Don’t care about any game like I do about this one..every year, no matter the records, I can’t stand these guys.
F’ da leprechaun.
Beat the irish!
ND 34 SC 20
Sadly, they’re just better than us this year.
38-0
