  1. thats not how this wirks, usc dont get to pick who they play like they got to pick the score saturday cuz the refs cheeted, john rosen won the game and ucla won but refs cheeted, smdh!

    • It would be a bad sign (mental health-wise) if your imaginary friends disagreed with each other.

      • No, you are incorrect Michael. Arguing with your imaginary friends is even better than arguing with your real friends. Trust me on this. LOL..

        • Hilarious, PT. I hope my in-laws read your comment before Thanksgiving! [I’d sure prefer that they kept their views on what’s wrong with the world within some kind of internal dialogue —-I might mention it to them at the door]…….

  2. Scott, why only 3 choices? Shouldn’t you have included a 4th choice, “Don’t care”? Regardless, every team will just keep throwing it to where J. Jones or Marshall is supposed to be and, VOILA!

    • Well maybe Helton should get a clue and have the Trojans get out of man-to-man coverage.

      • The Trojans could use Iman Marshall and Marvel Tell in the Cover 2 as the 2 high safeties, granted they’re available to play. But that would make too much sense.

          • That’s how limited Helton and his coaching staff are, they’re unable to make adjustments to other schemes on the offensive & defensive side of the ball. That’s why they aren’t able to put teams away.

          • Do you honestly believe he or his staff do not know how to make adjustments? Seriously? You can certainly argue with results, they are inconsistent. Motivation? Ok, if you want to. But this man who grew up around football, studies it, has a wealth or resources and contacts in football doesn’t know how to draw something up? Thats funny.

          • And Clancy who coached a defense to a super bowl doesn’t know how to make adjustments either.

          • Yes. Those were some fine adjustments being made vs Arizona where the Wildcats had 6 pts. at the half only to come back and score 30 pts. in the second half. And vs UCLA, the bRuins had 7 pts. at the half only to come back and score 16 pts. in the second half. Fine adjustments indeed.

          • Use whoever as the safeties, its not like USC’s secondary is built on size, its more about speed. They could put Langely back there.

          • Have a look at USC’s roster, there are cornerbacks and safeties listed all over it. For whatever reason Helton doesn’t like to rotate them in. There are 4 and 5 star defensive back recruits just sitting on the bench wasting their talent away. Its ridiculous, they cant all be hurt.

          • T_O, It has been a long while since I scrutinized our 2017 Roster. You hit the nail head !!!

    • Skippy, What if Stanford loses to ND Saturday, finishing the season with 4 loses? Yuck. An appearance by the Cougars in the PAC12 Title Game would sure make better sense. Easy to be upset with #25, J. Jones, not being able to play his position effectively. He had all of Spring Camp, Pre-Season Workouts, complete with a 12 game season without any apparent injury. Why no Bueno ???

  3. I want revenge on Washington state, but I think the huskies , especially at home, are gonna beat them. That’s ok, Bryce Love has ankle issues, and hopefully Notre Dame will physically mess them up this weekend. Stanford’s style is easier to scheme against as long as we step up with physicality like game 2

    • If Shaw is smart, he won’t play Love against ND. No reason to hurt his chances in the CG

    • I hope Stanford wins the game but gets beaten up. Sounds like SC when they played nd.

  4. USC’s not going to beat David Shaw twice in one season, regardless of the talent gap between the programs, because Shaw is ten times the coach, Clay Helton is.
