A Mock Draft For Sam Darnold

Here is a mock draft from analyst Dane Brugler that lists USC QB Sam Darnold as the No. 1 pick.

Excerpt: 1. Cleveland Browns — Sam Darnold, QB, USC
The Browns’ search for a long-term answer at quarterback will continue into the offseason. If Darnold declares (and that is a big “if”), he boasts the instincts and intangibles that will put him in the running for the top pick.

The Gators have moved on from Chip Kelly and are now focusing on Scott Frost. Door is wide open now for ucla to get the coach UF no longer wants.

    • Pudly76

      Smart move by the gators.

      • 88 Straight

Yeah, UF moved on right after Kelly told them he was going to UCLA. I remember dumping Farrah Fawcett in high school.

        • Pudly76

Bimbo. Everyone has their own truth these days. He’s the one you wanted, so more power to you. Me, I’m not a Kelly kinda guy, for a number of reasons.

No matter he’s yours now and your stuck with him. You knew store policy was no refunds, no returns, just to keep in the spirit of the holiday.

          • 88 Straight

UF wanted him. Kelly preferred UCLA apparently. Given that he can change his mind, we may wake up and find him in Tempe. There are no guarantees with anything. I think it is a good hire.

          • Pudly76

If he was so confident in his system, I still think there was more money for him in Fla.

          • 88 Straight

I don’t think it’s about money. He doesn’t like to schmooze with the boosters and draw a lot of attention to himself. Easier to do in LA. He’s an odd bird. So is Mike Leach.

          • Pudly76

That was odd. Josh rosen runs out with the seniors?

          • 88 Straight

Josh is gone. Changing of the guard. We will see if the team shows up. Poor execution so far.

          • Pudly76

It’s just wrong, he’s not a senior. For the sake of all that’s good in this world, explain to me why he had to steal their 5 minuets of fame?
Sorry, I’m just a dinosaur and do t get rewarding kids on somebody else’s special night.

          • 88 Straight

I’m a dinosaur as well. They may have allowed it because of the Mora firing. I don’t know. Tough situation for those kids.

          • Pudly76

Hey you’re talking with a Trojan, don’t tell me about firing coaches before the end of the season. Just a bad look, either he’s a spoiled brat, or he’s a spoiled brat. But he’s not a senior.
If they had faith in winning the game they could’ve done something at a bowl game. If not, they could’ve pulled him early and let him get his ovation then. It’s not as if he’s done anything special. To me it’s just a bad look.
            Sorry.

          • 88 Straight

I respect your opinion. I just don’t care about the decision with everything else going on. To me, small potatoes.

  • UCLA Dynasty

Rosen to Giants would be a much better situation than Darnold to Cleveland.

    • CORTEZ THE KILLER

Not if Cleveland hires the great Clay Helton !

      • SucKiffin

If Darnold stays to lose 3-4 games with this horse crap
staff next year … his agent of family should be shot
And Gomer better not be encouraging it either

  • Pete

    Down goes Overated Miami

    • Pudly76

      KaaBoooom!

      • Jack B

It wasn’t that close either. PITT hammered ’em. But with only 1 loss, MIA still won’t drop below us.

Craziest year in CFB I have ever seen. I expect to see much more before it’s all over.

        • Pudly76

They still have to play Clemson. Clemson has to go to So Carolina tomorrow and if they lose the chaos will be in effect.

Honestly, I’m not expecting all that but if stanfurd wins and Bama wins Michigan wins, well you just never know. Hahaha.

      • Pete

        Crazy year Pudly……Fight On!

        • Pudly76

It’s why we love this game, it’s just kids trying to grow up. But it is just kids.

    • SucKiffin

Beat ND by 40 … who beat Gomer by 40
      is SC overrated ?

      • Pete

        Yes

        • Goatboy Kiffin

Beat is one thing … Embarrassed is another
Obviously ND despite being physically much better than SC but not Miami

          • Arturo

Part of Pete’s argument includes the way teams match up. He is spot on.

            #StanfordmatchesupbetterwithND

  • Ted

Sam Darnold will be the #1 overall pick…. to the Toronto Argonauts!

    • steveg

He would still make a million times more money that you do at McDonalds.

    • SCgrad12

Wow Theodore. Did you and Bruin Rob stay up all night coming up with that gem? Does that mean the Rosen goes to the Edmonton Eskimos?

  • Pudly76

I’ll make a prediction, for you Scott. Two of the best teams in Fla. will lose today! Ha!

    • Jack B

Who’s the state champion now? Rah!

  • CORTEZ THE KILLER

Cleveland should hire the great coach Clay Helton and his fantastic staff to go with Darnold !

    • SucKiffin

they done such a great job 10 wins back to back years wow
      Go Gomer

  • steveg

All this is for is clicks. Did he pull this out of his back pocket or did he dig deeper.

    • Pudly76

      Maybe deeper and darker

  • Pasadena Trojan

Scooter, the greatest thing for Darnold is that he doesn’t have to leave USC this year. He can wait to see who will draft first next year.

    • steveg

I would stay at USC to avoid Cleveland.

      • SucKiffin

and not get paid … great decision idiot
