  1. Sam, ”….we play Pac12 games to win a championship.” Why isn’t sw ripping this kid apart for settling for a Pac12 Championship and not National Championships?

    • Sam has always been Wolf’s boi, through thick or thin. He wouldn’t dare throw him under the bus, the rest of the team(and coaches) is fair game

  2. What I got form the 1.5 minute video interview is that Darnold really wants to win this game and expects to.

  3. Can we get a thread on why Alabama should have no chance of going to the CFP? Or are we saving that for after the Pac-12 championship game?

    • Alabama lost a must win basically a playoff game. They didn’t win their division, didn’t win their conference. That is why they should not be in the 4 team playoffs. That should be reserved for conference champs.

      • Exactly, but Dork Herbstreit and the like are making bogus excuses to justify letting them in the playoff. Totally illogical, as the BCS championship Alabama won after not winning their division or even playing in their conference championship game, but they’re the national champion of the season?!?!

      • Sandy, Bammy doesnt belong because they have 61st SOS and played Mercer before Auburn and had bye before LSU. Saban is weak.

  4. ugh!, i didnt watch vidoe but its stoopid fir john to give samford button bored materiel like he just probaly do hear gauaranteeing a win, its why couch kelly is alredy best couch in laegue,

  5. The one thing that SC has going for them is that they had a week off and they should have fresh legs whereas Stanford just played a very physical ND team and they only have 5 days to recover.

    • That has been discussed on here. I just don’t think there is anything that will prevent Stanford from bringing their very best. USC just has to bring theirs very best also, for 4 quarters.

  6. Darnold needs to shut up and focus on Stanford. I don’t care how few days Stanford has to practice since that Saturday night game against Notre Dame. That coaching staff will out coach Helton, Tyson, Tee, Pendergast, and the whole lot of them in a New York second. Coaching, coaching, coaching. Name of the game and there is very little of it on the SC side. Helton & Co. will get exposed on Friday night and I can already hear the excuses . . . the grass was too wet, there was still smoke in the air from the fires in Sonoma, the short bus ride from the Farm was a major advantage for them, etc.
