Post-Practice Report

USC has installed 90 percent of its game plan for Ohio State. Tailback Aca’Cedric Ware left practice with a sore knee. Wide receiver Tyler Vaughns (shoulder) should be back in a few days.

Bill Walton visited practice.

  1. Flow: Coaches stated they were at 90% yesterday. Maybe they’ve already fallen behind? Not a good sign for the upcoming game.

      • Um, Question Time:
If it’s just Sam—why does Helton put the rest of the team thru practices? Wouldn’t it be better to let the other players enjoy Christmas while all 12 coaches concentrate on Sam?

      • Wow. Darnold must be the greatest player who ever lived, yet he didn’t even get invited to New York and was a turnover machine for the first half of the season.

The Kiffer is sure killing it at FAU. Didn’t take him long.

  2. Pudly suggested that Helton seemed down yesterday only because he was tired from being on the recruiting trail. Turns out Pudly was right. Helton stated he was zonked yesterday for that very reason. He seemed much more focused today and he didn’t have lost look in his eyes. Good to see. I was afraid he might be going into that same self-destruct mode we saw before the Alabama game.

  3. Darnold and Nwosu share USC’s MVP award and were also both Lifter Award recipients (6 total).

  4. Bill Walton is the most pathetic analyst in basketball. Talks about everything but the game. Acts like he is the only one who knows anything. Just will not shut up on the air. Why does he do the USC games? Talks like he has a mouthful of mush.

  5. Two posts in one day from Scott that actually let us know what was going on. No negativity, no stupid agendas, just football. Feel like I am reading wrong blog.
