USC players formed the traditional tunnel for the seniors at the last practice of the season at Howard Jones Field. But none of the seniors wore their high school jerseys, which is a better tradition. A couple players I spoke to said they forgot to wear the high school jerseys. Somebody dropped the ball this year.

Can we start a new tradition of most negative sports writer gets to play “Bull in Ring” for 20 minutes with team?
Scottie Doo is so uncoordinated and unathletic that he would end up stepping on a lineman’s ankle and breaking it causing him to write a post about how Helton should not be letting beat writers into the “bull in ring” when preparing for a bowl game during an 11-2 season.
Well, coach Helton just can’t get anything right. He should be sentenced to beat writer prison for his crimes against humanity.
Typical SW focus on a HS jersey tradition that could just as well be dropped without USC missing a beat.
What’s really important is this USC team seems to be having some fun out there and looks like they are getting ready to play a very strong game against OHIO ST.
No way these guys aren’t prepared. This is where the ND fiasco is paying dividends for this USC team, which is not about to let another big stage opportunity go to waste again.

It’s just hard to believe. I’m sure SC’s coaches must wonder how a guy like SW manages to entertain himself without digging deep into weirdness and absurdity. He’s a person only a ucla Troll could love.

So none of them wore the jerseys… and some of them said they forgot… which then means some didn’t give a d@mn, and neither did the coaches I presume. But “it’s a better tradition”. Kind of like how the sock colors are killing the teams spirit right?
Well as the old adage goes
“…success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan.”
We win it’s of no relevance….we lose all, such as this, will be closely examined as to ‘why’.

Okay I’ll bite, anybody know how long this “High School Jersey Tradition” has been around? They always appeared to be poorly fitting now that they are 4-5 years older and bigger. By the time I graduated college, High School was a distant memory.
