Circle The Date

USC plays at Arizona on Sept. 29. Is this now officially a trap game? It comes after road trips to Stanford and Texas along with a home game at Washington State.

    • Never forget, Wolf is the guy who said Burnett should leave SC to get NBA-level coaching. It gets even better when he complains about coaches not being detail oriented.

    • Hear ya, Pete. Every play ball at any level? It is hard to peak every week. Can’t imagine trying to peak every week against guys that are just as fast and just as big.

      • Arturo yes i did play ball, not at this level. Good coaches get you up and ready for all games……Good players want to win every game and our ready no matter who their playing…..

        • And Arturo good coaches and good players want to win big and put a game out of reach. So the subs can get some time in and become better. For when its their turn to step up they are ready…..

      • Larry Scott will make a deal with the devil if he can squeeze an extra nickle off the networks, never mind how it affects the teams. compared to the other conferences, we have a commissioner who is another ignorant obstacle.

        • I heard Larry Scott negotiated the Deep Web to start broadcasting games next season. At least I don’t have to worry about seeing Oregon St. vs. Washington after awakening from a drunken stupor at 4pm.

  1. I know you guys are doing some renovations but home games at Washington St.? What, the Chargers wouldn’t let you use Stub Hub?

  2. I will wait a while before looking at any game as a trap game. I don’t know if we have even have a chance at this point. Because we had to play our firsts throughout most of our games the next generation is still a question mark.
We have one QB with any in game experience. We have a couple of solid running backs and our defense will be able to hold its own.
I am not worried about the AZ coach he’s not available because he was successful.

    • Neither was Little Petey Pom-Pom when Emperor Garrett settled for his 5th choice, Lil’ Petey…..a buck and a wing choice as it were.

      • Turns out pretty well didn’t it? Lay off the booze Owns. Next thing you know you will think Chocolate chip is going to lead ucla to the promised land. ROTFLMAO

  3. So every team playing Arizona this coming season will be playing a trap game?? Is that how it works?

  4. No, SW. Arizona will not be a trap game. The Trojans play the Washington State Cougars at the Coliseum on FRIDAY NIGHT. The Men of Troy will have plenty of time to prepare for Arizona. it’s the Washington State game that could be the Trap for the Trojans, following the road game at Texas.

  5. All last year USC was in Trap game predicaments, presumably because the coaching staff thought they could just take the filed and beat every opponent easily so we get 1 point wins vs. Western Mich, Texas, Washington St., Utah, and UCLA. Everyone knows SC is gonna win those games, including the coaching staff and the players, and then you realize– “It’s a trap!”. Same coaches next year, same 10 trap games.
