Mystery revealed

Last week we mentioned the possibility of a surprising addition to the football team.

Wednesday's Daily News details how freshman basketball player Jeremy Barr considered playing football but decided to stick with his main sport. In case you're scoffing at the notion, USC coach Pete Carroll attended a basketball practice to check Barr out.
