Floyd to Oklahoma?

| | Comments (1) |

Reports in Oklahoma suggested USC coach Tim Floyd is a candidate for the Sooners' basketball job following the departure of Kelvin Sampson to Indiana.
Floyd said Thursday night he was not a candidate for the job.
``I made a statement when I got hired that this was my last job,'' Floyd said. ``I'm not pursuing any jobs.''

Meanwhile, Floyd's assistant, Gib Arnold, will interview today with Pepperdine officials for the head-coaching position.
Meanwhile, Purdue is another school that forward Jeremy Barr will considering transferring to after the school year concludes. Barr said he is also interested in Texas A&M, Miami, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.

Can't wait for Galen Gordy said:

Hello Scott,

I enjoy your blog very much. Just wondering if you have any idea about the basketball schedule for next season. I also heard the Trojans play at Duke and Kansas next season and that those 2 teams "may" play at Galen for the '07-'08 season. Any information you have on the schedule would be most appreciated. Also, what about the first game at Galen ? I heard at one time it would be Oklahoma State....

Many thanks for your time.

Best,
David
