`Just A Mistake'

| | Comments (2) |

The Coliseum is taking responsibility for Sunday's decision to sell beer during USC's spring scrimmage, which violated university policy.
``It was just a mistake,'' Coliseum general manager Pat Lynch said. ``It was no big deal. We cut it off instantly as soon as we found out.''
Beer sales occurred during the first half but ended at halftime. Still no official word from the university about the incident.

Maybe the figured, "Who are they going to fight with?" Wasn't that the issue, safety? If that is the case, then who cares if they sell beers at an all USC thing? They provide alcohol at functions on campus.

hard to believe that the university is dictating behavior to its fans (many of whom were educated there). if people drink to much, them they need to be taken away. the majority of fans are being penalized because of a very few - not a good policy. the morality/thought police need to go away - back to 1984.
