Sorry Scott, I'm going to let the cat out of the bag before the paper hits the streets.
By the time September rolls around, Matt Leinart will be the first Scientologist in the NFL.
Yes, people. Sad but true.

HOW DO YOU DO?
Wolfie,
We ALL know now about more bad news on LenDale White--to me, this all goes back to Cardinal Gardens TWO years ago now when Hershel Dennis SUSPENDED for alleged sexual assault and breaking curfew--but facts that came early had LenDale among other USC football players ALSO at same place, after curfew, where marijuana being smoked--SAY WHAT? Nothing apparently done about this. And you gotta wonder about lackluster performance as well for someone like Whitney Lewis who is ALSO overweight, seemingly lazy and UNDER-performing in the classroom and on the field--AFTER Pete Carroll took por Brandon Hance's #4 uniform and gave it to Whitney to placate him. Are the wheels coming off, Wolfie?? Looks like too much of a "player's coach," not running a tight ship, and anything goes----Cardinal Gardens last year had Eric Wright mess, now Sanchez--and Cushing in a bar fight last year. Hmmmmm..................

So, did Lendale fail a drug test or not? A writer who contacted various coaches/gm's reports that Lendale was not on the list of prospects who failed the drug test adminstered at the combine. Here's the story:
Scott, I have read your articles in the past, and I feel that you have been a little harsh on USC, and been fair on other articles. Your irresponsible reporting on LenDale White's supposed failed drug test hours before the draft began though was inexcusable. You thought you had a story that would cause another Trojan to come crashing down the draft charts, and he did fall, perhaps due to your report, perhaps not. The report researched more carefully was disproven and he had not failed a drug test, yet his draft stock dropped just like you wanted. I truly hope LenDale files a lawsuit for libel, because your report potentially cost him millions if he dropped in the draft because of it.

Scott--
You have some explaining to do, since ESPN seems to think you are full of it. And if you are wrong, unlike the CJ Spiller episode, you better own up to your faux pas.
To make such potentially damaging acusations about a player at the time you did needs justification - especially since the NFL is reporting that the claim is false.

You going to explain your sources here Wolf?

We're waiting...
The whole USC program is suspect!
What a joke!
