Thanks For Nothing

Michael Jackson, USC’s vice president of student affairs, developed a reputation for an iron fist in dealing with football players who appear before his office. But someone needs to wrap his knuckles about the statement he put out Wednesday night regarding the sexual-assault allegations against quarterback Mark Sanchez.
``In the interim, the student will be placed on interim suspension while the case is pending,’’ the statement said.
Huh? In the interim, an interim suspension?
That was so confusing, a USC official I spoke with did not even know if that meant Sanchez could take final exams.
Jackson also said ``The university takes charges of sexual assault seriously.’’
Only one problem: Sanchez has not been charged with sexual assault.

The Sanchez situation is unfortunate and in the system now. Get him a good lawyer or three with investigators. Do not attack the AV.

I think what should really concern USC supporters is protecting USC at this point. How to do that is the fork in this road and now is the time to decide which road to take. Try to deny, spin and pray or accept and find out first what is happening.

The goal of USC should be to limit the damage to the name of the institution. The NCAA will do what it will, however the time it takes to do it is what hurts most. They can delete games if you will, take scholorships and/or prohibate bowl games. All these drive away potential players. Perhaps you are better off without those types. However if it drags out it compounds these problems. The more you fight it the longer it takes and more it scares the program.

I am not a lawyer or dective, but I do have some well founded assumptions that are just that , my findings of review. The symptem is Bush, however I think the problem might be Justice.

What went on that year he was suspended? He said he was boxing. Who had just started a boxing promation concern?

Lake testified he and his girlfriend got into a disagreement because Justice was coming into town with Bush. Lake was trying to line up players. Lake says the dropped Justice off from the limo at a hotel S(I forget how to spell it) something, a $300 a night place. Who owns that Hotel?

The Griffins lived in a home (signed in concrete) purchased by Micheals. Micheals is also known by a last name P(I forget how to spell it) which is also the name of a female tribal council member of the S (I forget how to spell it)tribe for who he works. Isn't it Development?

Anyway the tribe owns the Boxing Promotion and the Hotel and Micheals is the developement officer I think.

Stay with me, the agent that Micheals is said to have been leading Bush to C(I forget how to spell it) was an associate previously with the current agent hired by Bush. Micheals wanted to do Marketing for Bush, which might sound strange, however the tribe is sponsering the SD Padres and developing the area and has started a Boxing Promation concern.

The man Orienstien(I forget how to spell it) is doing Bush's Marketing now. He was on the sidelines representing Reebok and advising Bush during last season on getting a marketing rep and had hired Bush as a "paid intern" last summer. Even my unwound alarm clock went off on that alone.

Concern for the 2004 MNC comes into play at this point. Justice began praticing again with USC in Dec., 2004 after enrolling back into USC mid Dec., 2004. At this time the home for the Griffins was under construction. When was the concrete contract poured? At what time was a home picked? When was a deal struck for a home? In short how far back does Justice go with the tribe and how far back do the Griffins go. lamar griffin was seen at the casino (I think it was the casino, maybe offices) as quoted by George Forman. Not sure which George Foreman! I think the boxer had 5 sons he named the same, and it could have been one of them LOL.

So here is the problem. The tribe says they had nothing to do with the Bush/Griffin home, but their officer did. The tribe did own the hotel, maybe the limo and perhaps some connection to the year of boxing.

I forgot to mention justice was trained by a former trainer of Mike Tyson.

Dude,

Since when do athletes at division-I schools have to assault women to have sex? Don't get me wrong, if Sanchez is guilty I hope he gets the full measure of justice. But if he doesn't, perhaps the accuser should be prosecuted.

On that note, I guess it was a pretty traumatic "sexual assault" if Brian Cushing did not even wake up from his sleep.

In regards to the underage drinking thing... yeah, who didn't do that in college. I went to an LA area Christian school and even I did that. In fact, I even had a fake ID made on Olivera St. I guess we just have to fault him on getting caught.

This is kind of turning into an off-season tradition at USC!

so whats the deal? the accuser says she was assaulted at 1230 am (while Mark was at the 9-0?? because he was taken home at 130 am) and if it happened at his place , did Brian Cushing stay and watch or sleep through it?? too many unanswered questions........ looks like a possible boyfriend /girlfriend spat gone bad...

USC's version of Wacko Jacko has really lost it.

"Interim suspension?"

Is that more or less serious than the "double-secret probation" that Delta House was on?
